Within the last 45 weeks: I have gotten engaged! 🎉 asked all my closest and dearest friends and sisters to stand by my side! 👯👯👯👯 Had an amazing engagement party. Found and said YES TO MY DRESS! 👰🏼 and today my shoes arrived 👠 & countdown has begun.. 8 months... I chose to have an 16 month engagement so that i could enjoy every step, and so I could have a fall wedding, truthfully I am. The wedding itself is one (very important) day. But the time between 45 days ago and 246 days from now is what will last in my memory. Venue shopping with Casey and our moms. That was an adventure, in itself. Note to future brides, myself if I ever go back in time :: Made sure you eat and wedding aren't cheap!!! I'm thankful my parents are able to help pay for the wedding. Another reason for a longer engagement. Dress shopping with my mom ( who didn't cry and always does) and future mom in law ( who doesn't cry and did), with my sisters, and future sister to be (who drove down just for the day) 😊 I'll remember texting Casey about an appointment with the flower guy, that's going to take 2 hours.💐 why ? Who knows, but I'll be sure to update. Or how I had to send out two separate engagement party invites, because we lost a very important family member. How my grandma wanted to throw me a bridal shower, but passed away a month before. How I realized before I made 200 GHOST wedding invitation. They really had a ghost print to them. 😂 How Casey and I are taking a budget class together, and I'm actually the Nerd! 😳 I know! I was shocked too! But we are doing really well, with the class. How picking out bridesmaid dresses, almost threw me for a loop... And the headache. ( I'm sure not only for me) we picked them and then we didn't, we picked them and then we didn't. We picked them! And everyone now has their color 😅 I'll remember wine tasting for the bachelorette party, and tea time for the bridal shower my sisters are planning. & my favorite is how Casey and I struggled to find our first dance song, and then heard Thomas Rhett's new single, Die a Happy Man & just knew. 😍 When I look back, i honestly may not remember the masses of people my mom told me to invite to the wedding or this or that, but I'll remember picking my bridesmaid based on girls who'd been in my life through the good and bad, thick and thin and will continue to be. I'll remember my fiancé telling me to have a me day because "Well, I know you're stressed. Go relax". I'll remember a sister who when my mom didn't see my vision, she was able to work it so she did. This are the things I'll remember and I know there will be more. And I'll remember there is NO WAY I would have done this all in 45 weeks! Cheers to those who have or can & cheers to those who have made it through the past 45 weeks with me 🍻 👰🏼 and I hope the next 246 are just as fun! 🍾🎉👰🏼

My best friend aka little sister is going away to school in 16 days and I'm a complete mess and taking it out on people I shouldn't. I've never already missed someone before they were gone... I don't know how to deal with the emotion. And it's killing me. So I'm sorry for being a wreck.
