I hope one day you’ll find someone who speaks your language that way you don’t spend a lifetime trying to translate your soul.

I hope you’ll love yourself fully for who you are, no judgment, no fear your eyes wide open and so clear.

I hope you won’t have to suffer the way I always have cause everything I do is always just for you but you don’t have a clue, so I hold my pain close to my chest so that you don’t see that I’m becoming a mess.

Hold Her

As daylight creeps through the windows I can feel motivation fleeing from my soul. Like a leaf falling from a withering tree all I can do is watch as she wisps away with the wind. As minutes pass I ponder if she will rush back to me as if I was a need all along. I tapped my boots and twiddled my thumbs and sank back in my la-z-boy. Questions arose in my mind as I glanced around the desolate room. Next time I’m going to invite her to a cup of coffee. I’ll share the pen longer and not be narcissistic. I’ll find words that empower others with a thundering blow! The wind against her skin deserves her more than I do. So when you have her do what I didn’t and hold her.

Good morning tumblr world! Silence and fear has been holding me back from being my true self. I give you versions of literature that I feel is good! Like half drank bottles and words left unsaid I stumble on my next line. In a few hours Mikel will venture off to school and I will get the headlight fixed on the Saturn. Why is it so important to me to have each word placed in the precise location. Can’t I just make mistakes like every old Joe? Even when I get ready for the day I have to have my hair put in a certain place. The spikes have been there since junior year of high school and I wouldn’t change your view. I just wish that I cared little about what you thought and felt strongly about about what that man in the mirror thought...

Sometimes I get too excited about a piece I am writing and send it out 4 all to see with many typos... I hate that, I hope you all can read between the lines and still appreciate the words and figure out the point of the writing without thinking negatively. It just kills me to finally reread my work then see mistakes.
