“Yeah?  Think he’d okay the extra coffee place next to the cafe?”
“I mean it would bring in a lot of money for the company. Plus it would keep us from sleeping during the day.”

“Yeah?  Think he’d okay the extra coffee place next to the cafe?”
“I mean it would bring in a lot of money for the company. Plus it would keep us from sleeping during the day.”
The arrow whizzed past her face and she followed along with it to see a fallen thug by her feet. Was he dead? Laurel couldn’t tell. she knelt next to the man and felt for a pulse at his neck. He wasn’t dead. Thank god. “You could have killed him!”
“I didn’t take a lethal shot.” Roy lept off of the roof, landing next to her. “I didn’t aim for any sort of vital organs. I know how to fire a bow.” He said shouldering his bow.Â
Steve heaved a breath, feeling strangely frustrated. “I just mean I got no interest in this whole thing you’re describing, about people paying so much attention to everyone else. But, out of curiosity, what woulda happened if I wasn’t somebody people saw as good looking? Would you chase me outta here, or just ignore me?”
“You want me to be honest? I probably wouldn’t have talked to you. BUt our looks have nothing to do with it. I generally don’t talk to anyone when i’m here. I actually feel kind of awkward actually in the hordes of people that come here in groups. But you reached out and spoke to e, so I took a bite.”
It had been a long time since Roy had been in this situation. He had been trying to the right thing. All he had to do was get the purse back for the woman. The mugger had gotten a little aggressive, and Arsenal may have taken over. He groaned, trying to make the handcuffs somewhat more comfortable. This was a little excessive for someone who might have punched a mugger.Â
“Alright, who’s next?”
justablackcanary:
“Alright, who’s next?”
“Watch your back!”
felicity-hacker-support:
“Some days I think I should just invest in a personal barista.”
“I’m sure we could talk Oliver into putting one in the lobby.”

Roy stopped hitting the bag to lean up against it. “I don’t see why I would be offended by that.” He said wrapping his arms around the bag. “I just told you that I was here to work on upper body stength. You being the best looking guy in here, doesn’t really damper my goal.”

“I mean I like attention yeah.” Roy said wth a shru. “But that’s not why I come here. Today I came here to work on upper body. Partcularly my biceps and triceps. Plus it is the first thing I get to do before I have to go home and do work.” He lied out his assa about what he did when he got home, but this guy didn’t need to know about Arsenal.
Steve studied him a moment, then looked away back to the heavy bag he’d set up. “Well, no offense meant by this, sir, but I’m not here to give anyone a show or take a bunch of selfies. I kinda use things like this as a way to get away from things like that.”

He didn’t even bother turning to see who had spoke. He didn’t care. The man in front of him was his only concern. The man with the information he needed on where the Joker was. “Unless you’d like to learn to shoot a bow with only one hand, I’d get the fuck out of here. Now.” He was confident that his own armor could take the blunt of the arrow if it fired at him. “Now you….” He advanced on the man, forcing his head back with the gun he had in his own hands. “TALK!”
“If you’d like to learn to shoot with your teeth, I would suggest keep at it.” He turned to aim his arrow at the butt of the gun, hanging over the man’s shoulder. Letting go, he hit the gun, with enough force to move the actual gun away form the man. “Run!” He told the other in a simple but firm tone. “And you, the next won’t be at the gun.” He said knocking another arrow.
reallyiscrazy:
“Tell me where he is or you won’t be speaking again in his lifetime!”
Roy stood behind the  figure with the hood. He pulled an Arrow out of his quiver and pulled t back, aiming it at the tendon located in the lower arm “Easy there cowboy.” He said pullin the arrow back a bit ore.Â
Steve bit back a scowl, resisting the urge to look around. “I suppose when I ignore them all they’ll get back to what they were doing, then. You seem like you enjoy that side of things. At least you must if you’re here all the time knowing that’s what’s gonna happen. Is there a good time to come when it’s maybe not like this?”
“I mean I like attention yeah.” Roy said wth a shru. “But that’s not why I come here. Today I came here to work on upper body. Partcularly my biceps and triceps. “yes, I’m trying to get back to the office, but with these lines…  Honestly you’d think it was Christmas.”
“You know, shopping on your break usually gives the wrong impression to other employees.” Roy said as he walked up, taking a sip from his coffee.
“If that’s true then maybe I joined the wrong gym.” Steve regarded him before glancing around, one hand wrapped, starting on the other one. “Feel free to keep the attention to yourself.”
“I hate to be the bearer of bad news, even though it’s one of my few talents. But that’s kind of what the gym is about now a days. Half of the people here haven’t really been working out. Most of them have been taking selfies in front of the mirrors. Very few of the people here are actually here to work out. And I don’t think I could get the attention back if I tried. You have the attention of quite a few gals and guys too.”
“Oh, don’t worry, I don’t fight much. Just the occasional bout with emasculating strangers who like to call attention to women’s bodies in environments where they should feel safe and unaccosted.” Steve smiled politely as he began to wrap his wrists in tape.
“There was no emasculating. Plus I was actually drawin’ attention to a particular part of your body. Plus, I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but being accosted is kind of the theme in the gy. I was actually getting all the attention and then you showed up.” Roy said with a teasing smile.Â
Red Arrow: I'm too young to die!
Green Arrow: I'm not, but I still don't wanna!
“Oh, this. It belongs to the gym, it’s just fortified. I’m tough on a bag. Thanks.”
“Well you do have the biggest chest out of any chick in here.” He said jokingly, patting the other chest. “Remind me not to get into a fight with you big guy.”
