I have a old video camcorder which I used A LOT twelve years ago, a Sony Hi-8 Handyman Camcorder to be exact. I’ve accumulated sixty or more Hi-8 cassette tapes of video footage over the years with no way to download the footage onto my Mac. Personally I would like to convert the footage over myself, instead of paying for someone else to do it. I would simply just use the FireWire port on the camera, but the female connection has come un-soldered. Would anyone know of a cheap Lightening, USB, or FireWire digital converter that I could utilize? - I would love to create several videos from the video footage. The ones I’ve seen so far have only been Windows only, shockingly.
Caldorian Films, founded by Matt Williams, began in two thousand and ten with a passion for the arts. Ever since, Matt Williams has planned several film ideas that he's hoping to get off the ground. He believes that everybody's got a story to share, and he plans to bring his stories to Caldorian Films.
In the meantime, he has been shooting automotive videos from profile videos, drift videos, and working on several other videos currently in production. While popularity increases in his automotive videos, he hopes to become sponsored; that way he can bring his long kept film ideas out in the open. Caldorian Films believes in passion, and if you want something bad enough, you'll bleed for it. That's when Matt thought of Caldorian Film's tagline: True Passion Bleeds Crimson. Matt hopes to bring films ranging from inspiring, creative and artsy; to serious, in your face type of films. He feels strongly about certain things going on in the world, and he believes certain things should be addressed. With film ideas he call's 'Matters of the Heart', he wants to bring up things that no one seem's to talk about or avoid. Matt also plans to reenact some of his own personal life stories, hoping to shed light on certain topics or issues that he's personally dealt with; hoping to inspire others and give them hope.
