A challenging project I took on this weekend is shoe making. Genuine leather moccasin boots custom made for Isabel with pearl chain and metallic leather embellishments on the fronts. They’re by no means perfect but they fit and she loves to point at them and say “boot!” To remind me she’s wearing them. She ran all around the shopping plaza in them this morning. Now I just hope they last through the season and don’t fall apart. Max went to Massachusetts this week so potential colleges could see him play. He was one of the few kids to get picked for the Blue Chip white All-Star team, and not only did they beat the blue All-Star team, but they also beat the national team. He played amazing and got an awesome mention on the live game stream last night. I can’t even explain how great it is to watch this kid give his all and see the constant recruitment emails come in from universities that want him to play for them.
