Free Finance and Budget Planner Printables
Here is a selection of printables to use and (hopefully) improve your financial organisation! There are 7 designs, each aiming to make setting and following a budget easier and more effective. These designs come in seven different designs to pick from, in seven different colours: blank, blue, green, purple, pink, peach and grey! These designs come in A4 and letter size to suit your printing preference.
You can download them for free at the links below:
Folder including all options - Monday & Sunday start
All other free printables (calendars, study, digital planner, etc)
Also included is a ‘How To Use’ guide with examples
Note: Only the first page will show up on the thumbnails, the files contain all 8 pages/colours - scroll down to see the rest. Once downloaded, you can delete or duplicate the pages you wish.
I hope you enjoy using these printables! If you upload a photo featuring it, I’d love to see. Please tag me on Tumblr with #emmastudies or on Instagram with @emmastudiess. You can see other people using my printables by visiting the #esprintables tag on my blog! Please remember, these printables are for personal use only and should not be redistributed as your own.
Whilst these printables are free of charge, it would be amazing of you to check out my Ko-fi account! :-)
Alternatively, I run an Etsy shop dedicated to student printables, planners and digital items! You can use ‘student10′ to get 10% off any purchase :-)

[writing. calculating. presenting. basically everything]
Your school or university might offer Office for free! Just check if you’re eligible and sign up with your university email.
Dropbox OneDrive & GoogleDrive | free

such.an.underrated.app. You can use it as a high school student, as an undergraduate, postgraduate, whatever. It combines tools such as plotting, CAS,3DGeo, spreadsheet, stochastic tools & more. Produces great graphics and can be smoothly exported to LaTeX. + vv interactive!

Grammarly | free version
[writing app]
I think we’ve all seen their ads at this point but I still felt the need to mention it. The free version is pretty okay! Especially if you worry excessively about your spelling like me (welcome to the club lol).
Naver Dictionary | free
[dictionary]
Korean-English Dictionary. Even offers hanja to some words! Gives you example sentences, you can even take a picture of the word or sentence you want to translate and it will do its best to help you out. (Still a beta function but works most of the time!)
TED & Podcasts & Khan Academy | free
[free education]
I use these platforms to educate myself on topics I don’t know much about or want to learn more about. Some podcasts I highly recommend are ‘the Minimalist Podcast’, ‘Not Overthinking’ and ‘The Ground Up Show’.
Endel | paid (depending on subscription)
[music. music?]
It’s hard to describe, but in their own words: “Endel creates personalized soundscapes to give your mind and body what it needs to achieve total immersion in any task”. Basically you have four modi: relax, focus, on-the-go and sleep mode. They take into consideration external conditions such as heart rate, weather, time and location to personalize these soundscapes. I personally love sleep mode!
Moodpath | free
[mental health]
It’s a mental health diary but without the excessive writing and the nagging feeling of guilt when you don’t have the time to update it. It helps you to reflect and get information. What I absolutely love about it: you don’t have to write. If you don’t want to at least. They will ask you daily questions about your emotional and physical well-being, that way you’ll get a bi-weekly mental health assessment. You can learn effective methods and techniques + have a reference of your emotional state which you can share with mental health professionals.
I was making a pack of stickers and thought I’d share a selection for free! I hope you like them :-) They can be used on any iPad or tablet. You’ll need to save the image (to your camera roll, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc) and then crop within the application.
Access them (and more) here!
You can use them with a free digital student planner I also made! And, you can also use any of my printable options digitally too :-)
I have a selection of paid dated and undated digital planners, organised and printables on my Etsy shop! ‘Student10′ gets you 10% off any purchase!
xx
Free 2019-2020 Digital Student Planner
I’ve had many requests for a free digital planner so decided it might be time to make one :-) Hopefully this suits the needs of everyone and can be enjoyed!
This file is mainly designed for iPads & tablets with apps such as Goodnotes, Notability, Xodo, Zoomnotes. However, it can be used on a computer if needed.
You can download it for free at the links below:
Folder including Monday & Sunday start options
All other free printables (can also be used digital or imported into this file, however will not be linked)
This planner includes a multitude of pages such as yearly overviews, monthly/weekly/daily calendars, student organisers, etc. It includes the 12 months for you to customise, along with 5 weekly pages and a selection of daily options. A reminder that this is undated. Pages can be duplicated to add more, links should not be impacted. However, if you delete the page which holds the link, the link will no longer function.
If you have any queries or questions, please direct them to my askbox!
Whilst this version is free, I do have a selection of paid options on my Etsy shop. There are several 2019 dated options, along with more student-specific calendars or for everyday use :-) These ones are much more extensive, include stickers and a variety of colour palettes and designs hence their price. I continually offer 10% discount using ‘student10′ if you are ever interested in making an additional purchase! I really appreciate the support I’ve had for my Etsy so far :D
I hope you enjoy using this! If you upload a photo featuring it, I’d love to see. Please tag me on Tumblr with #emmastudies or on Instagram with @emmastudiess. You can see other people using my items by visiting the #esprintables tag on my blog! Please remember, these printables are for personal use only and should not be redistributed as your own.

types of note takers
a: spend more time picking which pen and washi tape to use than actually taking notes. their notebook is a giant rainbow explosion.
b: simple. one pen, one notebook, maybe a highlighter if they’re feeling fancy.
c: takes notes on their laptop. organized, minimalist, timely. they have two windows open at all times: homework and tumblr.
d: doesn’t take many notes because they zone out for half of each class and is on their phone for the rest.
e: audio records the classes as well as taking notes by hand. later re-writes notes and types them *just in case* they lose their notebook. they never do.
f: never actually shows up to class, and if they do, they somehow forgot to bring a pen and paper.
g: you never see them taking any notes, instead they are always eating chipotle or mcdonalds in class. yet somehow they have the highest grade in the class.

What's the red board trick?? I've never heard of it, but now Im dying to know!
The red board trick is a memorization technique in which you write down important stuff in orange, and try to fill in the blanks after covering what you wrote with a red transparent board.
Personally I prefer red “Study Mate” boards as these are less flimsy, but I am unsure whether non-Asian stationery stores stock these. There are other options out there, mostly pen+board memorization sets, but I don’t find the included pen useful as *any* orange pen will work.
Results below. Apologies for the song choice.
