You ever heard the saying “Everyone falls short,” Well ... last night I did. I fell short. I’m pretty sure there no amount of phrases or saying in the Bible or on Pinterest that can describe the amount of short I’ve fallen. And living in a household where I’m regarded as the “Chosen One” or the “Mature One”. The one who never makes a mistake as bad as this person or that person. I don’t know how to come back from my short fall. I don’t know who to talk to that won’t judge me or look down on me in such disappointment that I regret even opening my mouth let alone doing the action that I did. The last couple of weeks I’ve felt as thought I’ve been spinning out of control. The sad part about it is I don’t know how to stop it. I’m so lost.

Confession:

A couple of days ago I got real down and decided to download a dating app. Didn’t think much of it, swiped a couple of times, turned over and went to bed. The next morning I get a text from my grandmother saying that “God told me to wait on him && that what he has for me is mind lwing”. And the amazing part about it, is the fact that she hadn’t known how I had been feeling lately or what I had just done the night before. In that moment it was all I needed to get through. But that moment is over once again. What do I do?

Rebranding

God wants to rebrand you with his Name. What is his name?? Jeremiah 33:9, “And his city shall be to me a ame of joy, praise, and glory before all nations of the earth...” First is JOY. Joy is happiness with expression. It’s the external evidence of internal happiness. Second is PRAISE. Praise is joy aimed in Gods direction. Third is GLORY. Glory is an ornament/jewel. It is meant to accessoriez your beauty.
