I needed one more piece for my portfolio that was drawn from direct observation (as in looking at something in real life rather than using a photo reference), so I spent over an hour trying and failing to draw an accurate oblong cylinder, cried a little, gave up, and then whipped out this in one try. My art skills truly work in mysterious ways.

Here's a version with some slight digital tweaks to get it more accurate to the model–

It's been forever but I have some new art, featuring Vest! Vest is a watcher, which is an undead crystalline creature from my setting (he was formerly a tiefling/drow). I designed him like 7 years ago but did not have any proper reference, and needless to say I had so much fun with all of these wings~ I kinda miss loosening up and drawing some weirder designs!

Last session through big magic shenanigans Neera ended up looking back so far in past she saw the creation of their reality...creation by Tiamat, but not the evil, destructive Tiamat she has grown up to understand. There are a prophecies surrounding a great betrayal that predates the 5 main gods Neera currently knows of, so she is trying to wrap her head around what this new creation possibility might mean.
