A few snapshots from yesterday's "Welcome to Hell" demonstration against the G20 summit in Hamburg. I'm still trying to really figure out what happened and will need a few days to really get the story straight. When you're right in the middle of it objectivity goes out the window so i'll leave that for later. Two thoughts - violence doesn't get you anywhere but more importantly, dissent is what protects and breathes life into a democracy. It's quite shocking to see the beast lift its veil of democracy and freedom to protect their economics and their power status quo.
