Petition: Prohibit publishers irrevocably disabling video games they have already sold

The government should update consumer law to prohibit publishers from disabling video games (and related game assets / features) they have a

Uk petition for same thing by same people

For those who don't know or got miss info:

This basicly regulates publishers to make a version for the said games to still be able to play, even if the official servers/online has been shut down.

This does not mean that every game has to be single player games, but make life-service (gacha, mmo or similar things) games still be playable.
