For #2020, when I hear a #metoo story, I'm going to post this image. I won't include any details of the story - as Tarana Burke says, "metoo" can be the start of a conversation or the end of a conversation. But I still know people who tell me they don't know anyone who's been sexually assaulted or harassed. And I talk to a lot of people who want to write about sex, but forget that their audience is crowded with survivors. I want to show what the world looks like from where I'm standing, and what I see is survivors. All kinds of survivors in every different place they could be in their survivorship. It's beautiful. But there are so many I've lost count. And I want them all to count. via Instagram https://ift.tt/2TyK3md
