Since you asked I shall give you a little ✨lore✨

In Parasitic Infection, Alex genuinely hates Vee and constantly treats him like a threat. Especially since he doesn’t like the idea of a alien parasitic creature with a genetic deficiency constantly hanging around his sister. He will bully him into submission constantly just to prove a point knowing Void struggles with defending himself. And as for Vee, he’s terrified of Alex solely out of the fear of the possibility of getting infected (especially into a hivemind) but still makes an attempt to be around him for Dana’s sake. He also knows he can’t get into Gentek and find lost information on himself without Alex’s help so he will take the abuse if it means he can find a way to be fixed.
