Hello, anybody still lurking here. This is Espeon-mod, and I am shutting down the Dreamyard.
While I was eager and excited to bring it back at the turn of the new year, events the past month have killed my drive to do so. It has been very difficult to try and advertise when things in my real life are in turmoil and there’s nobody to help. Mimikyu-mod’s own real life has become busy and tiring with a brand new job, and while I am very happy for him, I do not have the energy, nor the desire, to breathe life into this group by myself.
Nor do I have the time, with my graduation approaching at the end of the semester and a thesis to write. I am leaving the Pokemon tumblr RP scene entirely, because I need to focus on my own works. I love all my muses both here and elsewhere dearly. They will continue to exist in a more private, personal setting on discord. If you would like to continue RPing with me, I might be willing to do it there. But running a public hub is no longer in the cards for me.
This has been a very difficult decision to make, but I think it is a step in the right direction for my own self-care and self-love. Thank you for understanding, and I hope those who are remaining in this space continue to enjoy themselves and find communities where they feel they belong.
