It’s that time of year when anything that can bite, will. Mosquitoes, horse flies, ticks, gnats in your face.  These are not only annoying and often painful, and they can be deadly. Bug guard is an AWESOME natural and safe way to protect you and yours from all these things. Two major differences between this and the average repellant you buy at the store are A. NO DEET. That stuff smells awful and it is not safe for babies, young children, people with asthma, people who experience ill reactions for overwhelming orders, and people with skin allergies.

First of all, let me thank my husband for letting me use him as a guinea pig.  This is Avon’s eyeshadow primer. As you can see it covers this ugly deep scar on his eye very well. I have been singing the praises of this stuff since the very first day of ever using it. It keeps shadow on, It keeps it from creasing. It covers WELL. you can wear this with or without shadow and it is AWESOME for us older ladies who need a little something extra to brighten the eyes. If I could only ever pick one product to wear, this would be it. Of every product, Avon is currently making it is indeed my favorite. 101 Uses for Skin So Soft Original Bath Oil

Personal Uses:

~Bath oil and after shower moisturizer

~Make up remover

~Mild insect repellant

~Hot oil treatment to soften cuticles and nails

~Massage oil

~Cleans off tape marks left from band-aids

~Relieves itchy skin due to dryness

~Cleans ink, oil, and grease from skin

~Relieves itching caused by insect bites

~Removes paint from the skin instead of turpentine

~Soothes mild sunburn

~Rub into hands before washing for a better clean

~Rub on cracked, bleeding skin, it will heal within 2-3 days

~Put 1-2 capfuls in liquid soap, use to shave legs

~Hot oil treatment for hair

~Put 2-3 capfuls in a foot bath, soak and moisturize feet

~Removes gum from hair and porous surfaces

~Origional scent is great on head lice, leave in hair for 15

minutes, rinse outside, wash hair a few times to remove oil

Animal Uses

~Great insect repellant for your pet

~Removes tar and asphalt from pads on pet's feet

~Mix 5 parts water, 1 part SSS and mist on show animals

~Mix in pet's bath water takes fleas off

~For dry dog skin: 1 tbsp of SSS per gallon of water and use as

as after bath rinse or spritz on your dog's coat once a week

~Rub on your hands before and after working with pets and

farm animals, this takes away the pet odor

~Flea repellant: 1 1/2 oz of SSS per gallon of water - sponge dip

or spritz

~Flea bath: use after shampooing with a flea and tick shampoo

~Black fly spray for dogs: 1 cup SSS 1/2 cup liquid detergent

and 3 gallons of water

Good Morning guys and gals, Today's review is on Avon's True Color Makeup remover. We have 2 different ones. The bottle with a lotion type remover and the towelettes. I have used both and I am not a fan of the towelettes. Not because it doesn’t work, but because it takes so many of them to remove mascara. The lotion and a cotton ball will indeed remove it all and it will last longer. I will say the towelettes are very good for cleaning the makeup off your face, but I don’t recommend as eye make up remover.

Avon’s eyeshadow primer is by far “in this humble Avon lady’s opinion, the best product Avon has to offer. It does a few things. For us older gals it brightens your eyes in ways nothing else can. It stays where you put it. All day it will be there till you remove it. It keeps your eyeshadow from flaking, creasing or going away. Foundation is a terrible premier for your eyes because it’s heavy and because it will make your shadow crease. The tiny jar goes a long way because a little dab will do you. You can apply it with your fingertips or a brush.  I have had my jar for 6 months give or take and I am just getting to the bottom but still not ready to open the other jar I have waiting in the wings. So it really does last a long time which makes it very economical to use. Another wonderful thing about this primer is it is light and takes no drying time. You can literally put it on and get right on with applying your shadow. When you are trying to get ready for work in the morning that is important. I give Avon’s eyeshadow primer 2 thumbs.
