This morning we were all awaken to overwhelming “bae vibes” displayed on Instagram by Canadian rapper/God Drake and Bronx R&B mogul Jennifer Lopez. Don’t get me wrong, when I first saw the picture (posted by Drake), I was like “who the hell is that?” And went on with my day. It wasn’t until Twitter started an uproar that I was even aware that this “who” was Miss. “Jenny From the Block”. Okay, I know what we’re all thinking…”she’s fine as hell but… old as hell.” True, J. lo is pretty old, 47 to be exact but she ages like wine. The new found couple has been dropping minor hints all year, from selfies to “heart eyes” all in all, we should’ve known. According to Cosmopolitan, the rapper’s ex-beau was aware of the couple, weeks maybe even months prior. Cosmo reporting that instagrammers caught on to the “work” singer Rihanna’s unfollowing of J.LO during the Christmas weekend. I did my own investigation and thanks to Instagram’s new “search” option I was able to confirm that the Barbados Babe is no longer following poor Jenny. Many people are questioning this random romance saying that Drake is in love with Rihanna and that Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez are indeed really good friends, so how could they possibly be a thing….all’s far in love and war. We see it all the time, best friends dating each other’s exs and rappers switching baby mamas, it’s possible. I think we shouldn’t let this go over our heads nor pay it much attention but with the New Year and Valentines Day right around the corner, our eyes should definitely be pierced.
