Starfield took almost a decade to finish and it was so ass most people routinely forget it exists despite being the only major release from Bethesda since 2016. Obsidian cranked out New Vegas in 18 months using an engine they had no prior experience with, and it become one of the most beloved games of all time and certainly one of the most profitable games to ever have the bethesda name on it. If we gave Josh Sawyer and John Gonzalez the rights to make an elder scrolls right now they'd have it done and certified platinum before Todd's team even has a gameplay trailer for whatever it is that's "in production" in Maryland.

No joke I think sermon 14 is like, the thing that first made me realize that Morrowind was fucking good. It was the first sermon I happened across during my first playthrough and I was so shocked by its prose and content that I like, immediately started searching for more of them because it was easily an order of magnitude more fascinating than what I had been doing before that. Also ngl the book giving you Spear xp is like, top 5 jokes in this fucking game, especially given how morbid the subject matter is

I love the concept of "little secret" dialog in Morrowind. I love the thought of walking up to some random person on the street and earnestly asking them for a little secret of theirs. Like, "hey got a little secret for me?" to a total stranger. I wonder what kind of stuff you'd get irl. It conjures such a beautiful world
