The big 39, time has gone by so quick since I turned 30. The past few years, recording has got a bit more difficult as life gets in the way of producing the show. Season 17 was a bit more unique since it includes more bilingual and spanish episodes. I recognize 2026 officially as the year that we hit a decade of documenting the creatives in Los Angeles. We even had the chance to print some shirts for personal use to recognize the decade. I thank everyone who we have met on this beautiful journey called The Eskwilax Hour a.k.a The Legendary Hour.

Just isolated this Donají from her family portrait drawing. I always liked how she looks here, but I had drawn all characters in the same layer, so I finally separated her to use as reference/official art.

July 30th, Season 17 has been rolling despite our current environment. The last couple of months, bounty hunters and border patrol agents have been snatching people off the streets. Many people disappeared or left the country voluntarily while others have gone into hiding. Out of respect for our families, we slowed down on the episodes. As the situation clears, we just shot episode 192 with Eterna Primavera Cafe, a couple of entrepreneurs in the San Fernando Valley. As far as personal life, I have been trying my best to be a better person and love people for who they are and not who they can be. One of the quotes I live by is " treat others how you want to be treated."

We finished season 16 last month, which means we are taking our 3 month break of the year. It's the first few weeks of 2025, and things have not been great as we just had 2 major fires. One fire spread through the Palisades, and the other big one was out in Alta Dena. The fires brought many communities in LA together to help those who lost their homes in the fires. January 10th, 2025, marks 3 years since our co producer and beloved friend Marco was laid to rest. We love and miss you every day, Marco.

Hello

Started our new season last month. Season 16, the first episode was with Xtiosu, and the one right after was with Andrew Murga Aka Androoby. Both these were shot in different settings and with my new co producer Hokin. We have definitely got the ball rolling as we prepare to shoot a new episode this Saturday June 22nd . Started coming up with more ideas around the end of February right after Valentines Day. So it's been 4 months of brain work. Time definitely flies when we are fighting mental health and the bills all at once.

The past few years I grew my hair, grew tomatoes, survived at pandemic, survived the loss of a business and started a new business.

I mentioned all of who rest in peace because as I scrolled through the past posts I noticed that I had posted on the loss of Andreis YME and Ezekiel. It's been a rough few years and all of these people live in my memories and always will.

Well Hello there it's been years since I've posted. We actually went through a world pandemic and now are dealing with the post pandemic stuff. This photo was taken by my friend Henry.

This is me at 35, lost friends and family recently. Marco on January 10 2022, Ivan on April 21 2021 and Grandma on August 7 2021. Unfortunately I deleted the original eskwilax hour instagram for personal reasons. You can still find the original videos on YouTube. Stay safe yall and hopefully I can keep updating this page.
