The more she held her position in observation the more she started to get a handle on the situation but she ended up more confused. The weaponary was that of Vex from what she could tell by the wounds it left on the dead but yet they seem to be only aiming at the devils and not at her. Unless they never noticed her then she was safe, either way Savoris took this as a sign of aid rather then competition, anything that hated Eliksni or Devils as much as her was a good thing- for now.
She dove out of her cover, blade in hand and charged towards the devils cowering in their cover. She roared loudly as she raised lunged forward towards a dregs, her sword plunged deep into his chest as she ran it all the way through until the hilt touched the still warm flesh. The Devils were clearly shocked by this as some wondered out of their cover to get a handle on the situation.
A trifecta of shots rained down from the promontory in quick succession, two aimed to slay Vandals that had been moving towards Savoris, while the third was not a killing blow, but instead used to deprecate the shields of the Devil Baron who was leading the band.
This seemed to have, for lack of a better term, blown the load of the beneficial sniper, however; perhaps their weapon was overheated, or otherwise needed time to recharge. Whatever the case, Savoris seemed to no longer be getting their support; she was on her own against the Devils, for the time being.
It wasn’t before she pulled her blade from the Devil she stabbed before she noticed the covering fire that had caught the Devils off and offered her a distraction as well as aid when she charged forth. She wasn’t concerned as she was curious, but she couldn’t worry about that as of now. She had bigger things to worry about. She drew her sword at the Baron that seemed to be challenging her. She did not recognize this Baron but it did not curve her thoughts to killing this one as well as the others she had slaughtered before hand.
“Come on, what are you waiting for?” She growled lowly as the Baron and her circled each other. Both had their blades trained on the other as they glared at the other.
Savoris made the first move as she leapt forward, the Baron was quick and blocked her intial attack with his sword. Savoris bared her teeth as she tried to push the other’s blade away so she can be rid of this one in a hurry. She roared, kicking the Baron in the stomach, causing them to stumble back as she charged forward, blade at the ready as she raised it high, ready to strike down at the Baron. Her blade came down, ready to cut into the Devil- but she stopped.
Her breathing steady as her eyes moved from the Baron to turn behind her. Behind her was a Dreg, she peered down as much as she could, she couldn’t see it clearly but it was obvious this Dreg stabbed her. She growled, turning on her heels and swiping her sword across the Dreg’s neck. Blood sputter from the wound as she tried to reach behind her to remove the blade. The Devil Baron she neglected to noticed took the chance and got behind her, taking the dagger in her back and twisting it by the handle. Savoris yelped, but fought back with trying to shake the Baron off her.
