So, today... I went on the bus and since I haven't been around much to memorize the new bus routes in my hometown, I asked the bus driver to read my question that I typed up on my iPhone. He refused. Um... Really? So, I went to the supervisor, filed a compliant. This wasn't the first time it happened, but it was the first time I did something about it. I am no longer going to brush "small things" like this off my shoulder anymore. If we want to improve Deaf rights, especially in Canada... We better do something about it. Not to "brush it off" our shoulders. We need to fight for our rights. So I look forward to returning to Canada permanently, fighting for our rights. We cannot give it up. It is up to us to make a world a better place.
If you think that’s weird... Welcome to my life.

To my dearest mother, Leah Ann Noble, you were the best and nobody can ever replace you. You will always be in my heart, and forever remembered. I love this picture because it shows one of my favorite things about you--your smile. I've always thought you had the most beautiful smile and you would always lighten up the room. You always radiated positive energy. Your strength has been passed onto me. You're definitely not like the other moms, that's for sure. I miss talking to you every single day, I miss hugging you, and just being with you. But I know this, wherever you are in the afterlife, you are finally free as a butterfly. Your spirit will live on. I know this, you're finally with your family--your parents, Aunt Bonnie, and Susie. You are a truly beautiful soul. I love you, Mom. Forever and ever.

Mom--You have touched so many people's hearts. All day today, I've been getting messages from my friends saying how wonderful you are.. how you're like a second mom to some of them. I have so many memories and stories to share. You're always in my mind and heart. I miss you so much and I love you infinitely.
Remember to say, "I love you." Because that's the last thing your loved ones will remember.

Friends & family, I wanted to thank you for your support through this difficult time. There are no words to describe how I feel about losing my mom who is also my best friend. But sharing memories and stories helps to heal my hurting heart. My mom taught me so many things and one important thing she taught me is to embrace life--to grab every opportunity life presents you. I wanted to take this time to say I love you all. Love is a powerful thing and it shall live on infinitely.

We love you, bitch. We are so proud of you for staying strong. You are so determined to not let these things to stop you from truly living. Your mom is so proud of you; she Iis watching over you from the heavens with the biggest smile on her face right now. Nights as wild and ridiculous like now, and for days with beautiful and new beginnings, great friends and love are what you have right now. We are gomns toast wine to you bitchilyyyyyy
I'll always remember my mom's words, "This too shall pass..." Stay optimistic and stay strong, even through difficult times!
Revolutionize Yourself.
The world is your paparazzi.
A sign of audism? When a person approaches me, speaking something to me --I point out that I'm deaf, that person whispers to my ear, then I point out that I cannot hear them out. That person gives up. Does not try to writ down on paper or type on phone for communication. On the plus side, MAC products' spell check does not recognize the word "audism".
If you are willing to listen. That's the first step in change. Don't always look at things one way, aka your way. Look at things through a different lens. Not everyone sees things in the same lens. Open up and listen.
I once read this quote somewhere, "accountability goes both ways." Think about it.
