And being back. And all that stuff.”

        “I’m alright,” he whispered.  He was fine though.  After what he had gone through, Emmett had become more desensitized to kills.  Eyes turned up to look at the other, smiling softly at him.  “I was escaping the storm of the media, but of course, I’m stuck with even more.  How fun.”

      “That’s true, I rather everyone staring than being with my mother all day.  I just–– need a break from the world.  But I’ve realized that running around is definitely not a good idea?”  the boy spoke.  “So, how’s it been for you?  I know it’s just as hard for you as it is for everyone else,” he spoke.  “Probably a little harder.”

News of Kieran’s death was everywhere, and that unfortunately put the spotlight back on the lakewood six as well as Eli and Tina. Former friends and relatives of the murdered murderer.. everyone wanted to know what they thought about it, if they’d wanted it, if they’d done it… and Eli could understand why Emmett jumped on the opportunity to get out of town. Not that eli had even known about what’d happened until after it was over, and more people were dead. Part of him was relieved that the news had something else to focus on, but he felt guilty for the relief at emmett’s expense. All this and more led eli’s feet to emmett’s door, and though his knock was hesitant, it had purpose. Eli just wanted to know if he was alright. He waited with his hands in his pockets looking at the ground until someone answered the door. 

           Yet another murder spree that Emmett had been part of.  Even leaving Lakewood, it was more of Emmett being cursed.  Killers seem to follow him, and he wished that he could just be free of them.  Coming back to Lakewood, he tried to escape the spotlight too.  But it was fine.  He was fine.  He has become stronger.  He was Emmett Duval and he was a survivor.  Being back home, he was fine with staying on his own.  He told his mother that he could take care of himself.  So when he heard the door knock, he made his way over towards the front door.  When he opened it he glanced at him.  “Hey,” he looked at Kieran.

     welcome to chance harbor, where most people would go through this small town and think it was but an ordinary town.  the thing was, this town has many secrets, and for those that know its secrets, they are part of something much greater.  many families reside in this town and a few of them have been part of the town’s history.  their ancestors are part of a legacy that dates as far back as 1692.  these families are known as the witches of new salem.  six covens created six circles.  each circle is one of six families.  each needed to bind their circle so they can become as one.  the thing is not all witches want to share their power.  some witches have darkness in them.  and some witches don’t realize their blood can create a new circle.
