My May Recap āļøššļø
Hello my fingerprint files,
I have been on a reading, writing, and drawing kick as of late. I am finally reading Unmasking Autism by Devon Price. Ever since my diagnosis of Autism I kinda of went into a toward spiral for 5 weeks feeling very lost and confused as well as upset and angry. I started looking back on my life and was just not coping with how I had/have been treated. It then lead to gaslighting myself thinking āIām not autisticā but clinically diagnosed with being Autistic. I am now starting to cope better and this book is helping me realize Autism isnāt a death sentence. Itās actually been super helpful with coming to terms with my diagnosis and accepting myself for who I am. Anyways whilst I was reading this book I decided to copy text (common place) passages from this book along with my own thoughts and experiences which has been very healing and helpful. Anyways I hope you all are doing well.

Hello my dears,
I have been enjoying the solitude of reading, writing, and drawing. I am currently reading The Count of Monte Cristo. This 1,200 page of a book is exceptional. I am fully engrossed into it. The plot is stunning and well done. I have also found joy in writing with my fountain pen in red ink. Itās very palatable to the eyes.
I have also been doodling my day. All is very well and I hope you are too!

My dearest,
How are you doing? I woke quite early in the morning, precisely 5 oāclock in the morning. I had a cuppa warm chai tea and sat writing my letters. I just wanted to check in make sure you are doing alright. I shall be going to church this day followed by coffee with a dear friend of mine. I hope you are out enjoying the fresh air of spring while itās in the air. Please remember to take care of yourself, I know how hard it can be but remember, you deserve the same kindness you give to others as you do yourself. Until next timeā¦
Yours Truly,

Hello everyone,
I have recently found my home in a hobonichi A6 for daily journaling. This system is working far much better than the A5. I am disregarding the date up top and just writing freely for that day, which is working marvelously for me. Also I have found my perfect setup of spring and summer scents for this year. I hope you all are doing well and having a good day.

Went on a beautiful trail run yesterday. Did 2.74 miles and it was absolutely gorgeous outside! Love spring time.

New hobonichi A6 coveršøšš
*I recently discovered that my current journaling system is not working for me. I have the A5 Tomie from Hobonichi and Iām not grabbing it much anymore and I think itās because Iām overwhelmed by the amount of space I have to fill with this size. I had wanted the Only but not lonely cover but gave it some thought. When I first purchased I almost got this one. Itās giving adventure in nature/moss/Sherlock Holmes vibes and Iām all for it.

Today has been a gloomy day. Itās been raining all day, and Iām not gonna lie Iām living for it. I spent the day getting my nails done, running errands, went to a play (we left at intermission, wasnāt that great), and now Iām cozing up and starting The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater. Just want to cozy up and be warm after an exciting but exhausting day. I forgot to take my meds and havenāt felt right all day and just shaky. Whelp nothing I can do just need to take them tomorrow. I hope you all are having a lovely day.

*COMING TO TERMS WITH BEING LATE DIAGNOSED WITH AUTISM.
Itās only been 4 days since I got diagnosed with autism. I will say it feels strange, like floating on a cloud in a dream. I have been thinking a lot about my childhood and why I was the way that I was. Teachers got upset with me and I was bullied a lot. I think at a young age I learned to mask my autistic qualities to avoid getting bullied. It had gotten so bad that I actually transferred schools my six grade year and for the first time I wasnāt bullied but, I was still struggling. Now that I think about it my breakdowns were actually autistic meltdowns. I really disliked that I didnāt understand things or when things changed. I had always struggled to make and keep friends and still do as an adult. I donāt understand like physically why itās so hard but itās because Iām autistic. I know Iām not the only one who tried to change and conform to āfitting inā by changing how I talked and dressed. I remember constantly telling myself āthis year Iām gonna fit inā but, in reality I never was meant to fit in. I always saw the world through a different lens and now I understand itās because Iām autistic. Now I am currently learning and coming to terms with this diagnosis and giving myself some grace. I did pick up a book called Unmasking Autism by Devon Price, Ph.D

Hello there!
My name is Holly I am a 28 year old female located in the U.S. I wanted to start off by saying thank you so much for stopping by my files. I really hope youāll feel at home here and a place that just feels safe.
I wanted to create a blog because I love documenting and writing and writing my day-to-day life. I spend a lot of my time writing but, I figured why not, life is too short to not do things that you love.
A little background history about me. I was recently diagnosed with Autism on April 21st, 2026. I also have ADHD. Mental health wellbeing is extremely important to me and fun fact* one of my special interests. I am by no means a professional nor am I a doctor or pretend to be. I just want a place to share my experiences and have community. If you are struggling please reach out to 988 or your support team.
I have a dog named Murphy. He is a springer spaniel. I spend a lot of my time writing, walking, taking photos, and reading. I also enjoy hiking, hammocking, and watching YouTube. This is going to be a compilation of day-to-day life, journaling, fashion, photography, special interests, mental health, and well just life.
I hope you enjoy your time in the files. Try not to get lost.
*warm wishes,
Holly
