Hiatus Notice

Hi, guys. Just popping in here to say that something has really been bugging me lately about the fandom and I can’t quite figure out what, but it’s making it harder and harder to write, so after much consideration, I’ll be going on hiatus for an INDEFINITE AMOUNT OF TIME across all of my D.Gray-Man blogs. I’m hoping some time away will fix whatever’s bothering me and I’ll be back sooner rather than later.

I may pop in to do replies now and again, but they’ll mostly be titled/plotted threads. 

I will still be role playing, however. I’ll be on my kids: @jushouzhilao, @fivecl and @emptyhandecl, so if you want to continue interacting with me or need to get a hold of me, I’ll be at one of those. 

I’m sorry to anyone disappointed or inconvenienced by this, but there’s no point in me staring at my drafts for hours on end when I’m struggling to write them.

It takes them by SURPRISE when Aki sits down next to him on the couch, offers them a box—and not just any box. It’s in the shape of a heart. Red in color and Adam knows what it is before she even speaks.

They had such a good daughter.

            Ferrah stared at the man from a distance, almost certain she’d       seen him somewhere before. That was when it hit her, causing her       stomach to churn and her chest to tighten. He’d been at one of her step       father’s party’s, hadn’t he? Maybe if she was lucky he just looked       familiar or he wouldn’t recognize her at all either. Still, the girl didn’t       want to risk her chances and quickly began to slip back into clinic       once more, eyes not once leaving the man until the door clicked shut. 

            “ Ha… I’m still paranoid about people. The monster’s       probably done caring about dragging me home anyways. Any the       likelihood that man is actually an associate of the family is pretty       unlikely too… Get a grip, Ferrah. ”

They were SURPRISED when they finally noticed what was so off about the girl, what bothered him so much about the child of man who’s parties he had a attended on more than a few occasions. Something felt OFF about her and they had finally realizes what: She was an Accomodator. 

From afar, they watch her slip back inside the tiny clinic that she no doubt mans. For a brief second, their eyes met; it’s obvious that she’s seen them, even if she scurries back inside as if to avoid him. 

That’s not going to do.

Making their way to her little clinic, dead set on at least gauging this little girl’s skills, if nothing else. They had to make sure she wasn’t TOO DANGEROUS, after all. There were far too many of those Exorcists running around right now to allow even one more to be added; their precious family could get hurt.

They approach the door and knock just once. In the silence, it’s almost DEAFENING—foreboding, in a way. And if she sees no reason to open the door, they know of other ways to get an audience with her.

#DGraymanweek- Day 5: Message

I literally just saw that there is smth like this about… an hour ago or so?? N I was all like OAAAAAAO  need to participate!!! DGM is my fav manga of all time but I never do fa’s for it cause it already gives me everything I need :’)  However, seeing that it is now DGM week I had the urge to do one of my fav scenes that gets me EVERY DAMN TIME! I still remember the massive goosebumps I got the very first time I red this scene n just thought “Hooooooly shit O//A//O”  neah n mana will be the death of my poor poor heart… (after alma n kanda already broke it)

               That face…. the one he knew from so long ago stared down at him. Even as the gloved hand wringed his neck he couldn’t fight back. His lungs screaming for breath as his irises turned slowly back to it’s argent hue. 

      Why was this happening? How was he…?

              Pale pink lips parted slowly, desperately trying to choke out anything audible but only the sound of a gag fled him out of bodily reflex. Slowly his wits began to return as his will to survive trumped his shock. Grasping at the hand of the suit he tried to remove the hold long enough to get a precious gasp of air. Crown clown even reacted on its own will to preserve its host, causing the hand to tighten around the appendage. Nails digging into the gray skin that showed to give it better hold and tug just long enough for him to fill his lungs once with oxygen… only to waist it in order to whisper a single name.

                                                                    “Mana…..”

At first, they don’t realize that their suit has split apart, that their face has been revealed only to the boy. Not until a FAMILIAR name is spoken. Mana: The source of all their problems, the reason that Nea had LEFT him behind. 

“Allen,” they say with a soft smile on their face. “It’s not nice to call people by names that aren’t their own. I taught you better than that.”

There’s a quality in their voice that changes. The way of speaking shifts slightly, though few would notice the difference. Something about that name being uttered by not the Fourteenth but his vessel makes Adam feel... somehow nostalgic. 

... Why?

          There was no sound – save for the rustling of the child’s clothes and feet as he ran past the other. Now, a little boy simply trotting by the elder would probably be nothing suspicious; except this one had a bit of an ulterior motive – such as stealing their wallet from their pockets.

Adam is FAR too old to have some child steal from their pockets. After all, if he’d only ASK, they’d be more than happy to feed and clothe them for a day. Something about a small, redhead child wandering the streets alone tugs at their heartstrings, like a distant memory dulling his senses. 

But this tiny detail doesn’t stop them from looking up, making eye contact with the boy as he brushes past them. “Didn’t anyone ever teach you any manners?”

Or class, at least. Pickpocketing by brushing past someone like a street urchin is TACKY at best.
