"Uhm, yeah..." Ruby said slowly as she noticed that she had seen the gun. Shit... "Don't worry about it. It's for- uh- self defense".
“T’ey’re not needed, t’ey’re just … wanted. You don’t have to steal to get what you want, you can earn it,” Aiden answered. That was what he had found over his life, that you just had to ask nicely.
Cori tilted her head and pouted. "Yeah, I guess," she said quietly. She had tried to earn everything; respect, money, friends, love... and it had never worked. So she had become bitter and she had stopped trying to earn anything. She shook her head. "But stealing is the only thing that I'm good at. I basically suck at life".
"Well…hey there." Clara laughed and shook her head. "I’m good, I’m sure I would get fired for asking someone to steal something for me. I’d be doing the exact opposite of what I am supposed to be doing."
"Oh?" Cori smiled. "What do you do, then? Please don't tell me you're a cop".
"That sounds like the most perfect plan my dear, please lead the way…” ”Usually I can make my way ‘round places, it is just that I’m only staying here for the week and so I feel rather like an alien.”
"I know how you feel," Alice chuckled and grabbed his hand, leading him to the nearby pub. "Here we are. So, where are you from, then?"
"That seems like a rather silly thing to spend money on." War had all of 47 dollars to her name and she couldn’t imagine spending it on art. "Alice." She cemented the name and the girl’s face in her memory. "I’m Shiloh."
"Yeah, some people are like that. They like spending money on stupid things and I take the advantage of that," Alice chuckled. "Shiloh, what a wonderful name. Very nice to meet you."

Bruised knuckles rapped on the door of the home as Nox shifted his weight from foot to foot. Some smart ass dick head had been giving one of the girls shit, so Nox had been sent to fuck him up. Unsure if he had gotten the right place, he decided to give it a try anyway. Knocking louder now, he was becoming impatient.
“Open up, dick ‘ead!”
Eliza was alone, for once. And she was happy about it. This time she really couldn't stand the man she had seduced.
The knock and yelling on the door made her wince. She wanted to get rid of anyone who was behind that door, so she angrily opened it and looked at the young man. "I think you're barking up the wrong tree, honey".

"Oh, well, surely. It's actually nearby. I really like it. It's never that full and it's quite calm and nice. I can show you the way if you want to".
”I’ve got a pretty good reaction speed,” Aiden replied, giving a light chuckle in return. He ran a hand through his hair again before answering—ruffling it slightly. “I’m quite well known locally,” he answered.
"Ah, great to hear," Cori nodded, smiling warmly. "I haven't been around so I know nothing what's going on. I'm a traveler," she smirked. "Thieves are needed all over the world".
"Perfect timing?" Amorette frowned, peeking over at the unfamiliar woman. "I’m Amorette. Moreau."
"Yeah, perfect timing, Heavy sarcasm," Ruby rolled her eyes and then gave the other woman a smile. "I'm Ruby. Nice to meet you," she said, as she tucked the pistol on her hip pocket.
"Ooh. You sound like you have an interesting job. But I think mine is far more interesting."
"Really now? Tell me about it then, stranger".
"I’m sure you do. But never call me honey again, or I’ll be showing you a couple of my own tricks.”
"Oh, you most certainly don't want to do that. Relax. And also, you really don't want to anger a woman who's friend is an assassin".
"Thanks, I just don’t really know what to say. I mean, I’ve never jacked anything and well, you don’t seem very dangerous."
"Yeah, I'm not dangerous to nice people. I have no reason. But don't worry, you won't get into trouble. I'm a professional, the cops won't find me".
