I've been reading the FSS and its pretty good so far. But i'm having trouble understanding what happens in some volumes. Could you please write summaries of that happens in each volume and who the characters are? it would help me understand the whole thing a lot better.

This is one of the best places to get a good overview, but even they never finished the story synopsis. I didn't think I am going to be trying myself, sorry. I recommend rereading the time lines at the end of the volumes, that helps figure out where in the story that volume takes place.
