Two signature cocktails were provided; District 6 (Strawberry Cucumber Dill cocktail + Smirnoff Vodka) and Shaw Sunset (Pineapple Allspice & Mint cocktail + Jack Daniels Bourbon). These delicious punches were super easy to make with minimal preparation thanks to Shurb Districtâs fine cocktail vinegars paired with top-shelf liquor and delicate garnishes. Trader Joesâ was a huge lifesaver for the budget-friendly wine that if total quality foolproof for impressing a large group. We took a tour of Italy, South Africa and Napa Valley- selecting whites, reds, rose and of course bubbly. And to refresh and rehydrate we provided Acqua Panna Natural water with fresh cucumbers and mint.

And of course and can this be a G.Alexandra event without delicious food to pair with the beautiful decor. Private chef, Taherrah Bilal from Seattle, Washington was called in by our founder & editor-in-cheif, Gabrielle to help create the perfect menu for the guest. The two met days after Taherrah relocated back to the nationâs capitol and hit the ground running trying to bring Morocco to D.C.. By incorporating exotic Mediterranean spice blends for the meats and fresh fragrant herbs for the sides dishes brought the food to the next level. The time and preparation was a true labor of love.
âItâs something about food, that brings people together which I absolutely love. So focusing all our energy into delivering a sensational food experience that anybody can prepare in their home with no professional training is my goal.â- Gabrielle Easley
