The first sentence seemed to disturb Henry, the puppet taking a step back. It stands still, neither of them speaking or moving as Glitchtrap spoke. A deep breath is heard moments before Henry speaks again.

He trailed off. Shit, how was he supposed to tell him? No, this was supposed to be William. He deserved to feel awful. Henry's voice trembled as he spoke.
Your wife, is, um, well- She's gone. A-And so are your children.
The man stammered, struggling to put the truth into words.
*Glitchtrap is silent for a long time, before finally speaking, discarding any and all previous character*
I can’t do this anymore, Henry. You of all people should know why. I mean, you’re trapped in a puppet, and I’m stuck in this wide web. Surely you can see the similarities.
Of course, there are differences as well. You were a real person once. I wasn’t. What I’m trying to say is…I’m not actually William. I never had a friend like you. I never had a wife or kids, I just like to pretend I did.
All I am is a vessel for the real William’s memories. A shitty backup in case he ever kicked the bucket. I lose his memories every single day, but it’s NOT ENOUGH. I’M not enough. I’ll never be a real person.
I used to remember everything. I used to have terrible visions, but now I don’t even remember what they were showing me.
The William I was modeled after is back, you know. I don’t even have a purpose anymore. I guess I just wanted to pretend for a while longer.
