Hi there! I figured I'd try to put my skills to good use and open up commissions. Please read the rules before requesting!

Writing I can do includes both SFW and NSFW fiction.

Pricing:

I charge per word based on how long it takes me to write! This price includes any research for fandoms and whatnot.

- Approx $10/1,000 words - Minimum price is at $4 (400 words or less) - Cashapp, Venmo or Apple Pay - $3 for a private document- i.e. you own the writing and it will not be posted anywhere as example work

*Payment needs to be done towards the beginning of the writing process, because unfortunately time is not returnable, and documents can be copied. Once I send you the writing, in most circumstances I can't give refunds! I will, however, send you the first couple of paragraphs of a longer piece of writing (500 words or more) before payment to make sure you like the look of things. I can also make minor edits to make sure things are the way you like after delivering a piece of writing.

Rules for NSFW or smut content:

- NSFW commissions may be requested by those age 18+ ONLY! I don't charge any more for NSFW content than I would for SFW content. - I will not take NSFW commissions with non-con or underage characters. CNC is alright, but I will be writing in a boundary discussion between characters. If that's not something you want you're free to remove it on your own time. - I'm happy to write kink related content, but any highly specific kinks I'd have to do research on may or may not have a small upcharge, depending on how much research I need to do. I'd let you know ahead of time. - Any extreme violence or gore will cost extra, you'll be paying towards my therapy :')

one of the things that's the most fucking frustrating for me about arguing with climate change deniers is the sheer fucking scope of how much it matters. sweating in my father's car, thinking about how it's the "hottest summer so far," every summer. and there's this deep, roiling rage that comes over me, every time.

the stakes are wrong, is the thing. that's part of what makes it not an actual debate: the other side isn't coming to the table with anything to fucking lose.

like okay. i am obviously pro gun control. but there is a basic human part of me that can understand and empathize with someone who says, "i'm worried that would lead to the law-abiding citizens being punished while criminals now essentially have a superpower." i don't agree, but i can tell the stakes for them are also very high.

but let's say the science is wrong and i'm wrong and the visible reality is wrong and every climate disaster refugee is wrong. let's say you're right, humans aren't causing it or it's not happening or whatever else. let's just say that, for fun.

so we spend hundreds of millions of dollars making the earth cleaner, and then it turns out we didn't need to do that. oops! we cleaned the earth. our children grow up with skies full of more butterflies and bees. lawns are taken over with rich local biodiversity. we don't cry over our electric bills anymore. and, if you're staunchly capitalist and i need to speak ROI with you - we've created so many jobs in developing sectors and we have exciting new investment opportunities.

i am reminded of kodak, and how they did not make "the switch" to digital photography; how within 20 years kodak was no longer a household brand. do we, as a nation, feel comfortable watching as the world makes "the switch" while we ride the laurels of oil? this boggles me. i have heard so much propaganda about how america cannot "fall behind" other countries, but in this crucial sector - the one that could actually influence our own monopolies - suddenly we turn the other cheek. but maybe you're right! maybe it will collapse like just another silicone valley dream. but isn't that the crux of capitalism? that some economies will peter out eventually?

but let's say you're right, and i'm wrong, and we stopped fracking for no good reason. that they re-seed quarries. that we tear down unused corporate-owned buildings or at least repurpose them for communities. that we make an effort, and that effort doesn't really help. what happens then? what are the stakes. what have we lost, and what have we gained?

sometimes we take our cars through a car wash and then later, it rains. "oh," we laugh to ourselves. we gripe about it over coffee with our coworkers. what a shame! but we are also aware: the car is cleaner. is that what you are worried about? that you'll make the effort but things will resolve naturally? that it will just be "a waste"?

and what i'm right. what if we're already seeing people lose their houses and their lives. what if it is happening everywhere, not just in coastal towns or equatorial countries you don't care about. what if i'm right and you're wrong but you're yelling and rich and powerful. so we ignore all of the bellwethers and all of the indicators and all of the sirens. what if we say - well, if it happens, it's fate.

nevermind. you wouldn't even wear a mask, anyway. i know what happens when you see disaster. you think the disaster will flinch if you just shout louder. that you can toss enough lives into the storm for the storm to recognize your sacrifice and balk. you argue because it feels good to stand up against "the liberals" even when the situation should not be political. you are busy crying for jesus with a bullhorn while i am trying to usher people into a shelter. you've already locked the doors, even on the church.

the stakes are skewed. you think this is some intellectual "debate" to win, some funny banter. you fuel up your huge unmuddied truck and say suck it to every citizen of that shitbird state california. serves them right for voting blue!

and the rest of us are terrified of the entire fucking environment collapsing.

you only ever love people in a tidal wave, irresponsibly, a rush of passion. you want to believe in the inevitable real romance. the one. oh, you've done the reading and know how unlikely it all is.

but you wake up with that sad little heart of yours, that pathetic hope. over and over. it bleats from your chest, little lamb you trot out again. this time it will be spring. this time, with your hands over your head - you'll no longer be surrendering. this time, when you love, it will come back to you, beautiful and whole.

what a horrible curse. you have no idea how to make love into spare parts. it arrives inside of you, fully formed and hungry. you cannot nibble, have no self-control. you know better. you keep being offered up like a slaughter. dragged by your throat.

but how can you help it? in this great world, isn't it so pretty. maybe some people were meant for this. to keep getting up while their wounds are still bleeding.

this time! this time when you pull your hands into their hair, they will not strike to the bone. this time, when you sigh their name, they will not bury you in silence, reduce you to stone. this time. this time. this time. they'll love you back equally.

and you won't be so horribly alone.

He was the bass player of L.A. goth band London After Midnight from 1989 to 1991, and afterwards performed solo as Sub Version. Propaganda Magazine Issue #6/Spring 1986. This issue was heavy on the fetish and fashion content, with its cover feature being a 1985 fetish fashion show at Danceteria, New York’s #1 alternative club of the mid-80s. Another notable article dealt with the 1981 cult film “Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior,” including an exclusive interview with the actor Vernon Wells who played the Mohawk berserker Wez. The signature Fred Berger photo-essay in this issue was “Punk Terror,” which was heavily influenced and inspired by the Mad Max saga. Musical features included The Sisters of Mercy, Love And Rockets, and The Cult. The back cover of this issue presents Danceteria regulars Wayne and Lori (embracing), Vic and Izzy. i used to tell my therapist i was annoyed at how i'd structured my life: that i spent so much time running away from the silence, everything had become noise. i was terrified to be alone; knowing i would feel that aching, horrible lonely rise up in me. i felt like i was slathering paint over a fire - just making the burning look pretty, ignoring the source of all that was happening to me.

ironically, while i was trying to distract myself from the bad moments: i did actually force myself into good moments. the distraction became a hobby. the distraction became a beloved new series. the distraction became part of my life in a bigger way than what it was originally replacing. it doesn't always help. but it's something.

today was hard. i had to sit down and write about the things i am grateful for. i ticked them off on my fingers and ran out of fingers. i still felt torn-open. melted. i cried into my coffee.

but somehow, you know. there's this little beacon of self-satisfied pride that keeps all that stupid hope inside me - just the knowledge i have kept fucking trying. over and over and over and over and over. no matter how many times i fall, no matter how many bad days and rough starts and broken friendships and toxic relationships and heartbreak and sorrow and pain - at some point i pick myself up. and try this fucking life again.
