when grace’s father promised he would be back in time for tea, she never envisioned the idea of never seeing him again. in the enchanted forest, the two lived happily together. whilst admittedly they didn’t have much, the young girl was happy enough with just that. she loved her father, jefferson, more than she could even begin to translate into words, & despite him not being able to buy her the stuffed white rabbit she desperately wanted, grace still thought the world of her father. when the evil queen appeared at their doorstep, grace already knew there was something wrong. she knew the people in the kingdom referred to her as the evil queen for a reason, so when her father told her he would be venturing to her castle to do a job for her, she begged him to stay. alas, jefferson went, promising he would be back in time for their tea party.
