“Oh, I’m glad they’re all having fun there. It’s not like they... actually think me and Cirno act like that to each other. Eh heh...”
"Miss Daiyousei, umm, if I may ask, what do you normally do everyday?... Do you go out with Miss Cirno? Play games? Or..."
“I guess it’s both of those and everything else. If I’m not out with Cirno or any of my other friends, I hang out with the other fairies around the lake. Then we just kinda do whatever comes to mind. Play games, pull pranks, bother people. Then things start slowing down when everyone gets tired until we go to sleep and start all over again.”
Otoha did see fairies however, she was mostly preoccupied with attempting to snap a photo of the scenery, however it seemed that trying to subtly attempt to do such a thing was difficult with the fairies flying around. She kept smiling at the stranger. “ Oh? “ The tengu raised an eye, wondering if maybe she had done something wrong, only for the fairy to correct herself. “ Ah.. I see. I suppose that would make sense, uh no. I’m not waiting around for anything to happen, or at least… another incident to happen. I’m different from the usual tengus that run around writing to write the latest news. I take pictures, now you might think this is just a camera but, it’s quite a machine to have and use. “ She rubbed her hands, glancing at the lake again. “ I’m surprised I’ve never seen you before, but then again… there are a lot of fairies around. “
“Well the lake is a big place. I know I stick out a lot more than the others but it’s not like I stay in one place.”
Dai’s eyes wander curiously as she takes in all the things about this new person. Upon seeing the camera, her eyes light up with curiousity.
“Ohh, so that’s the camera right? Maybe I could help you take some pictures? But what do you do with the pictures if they’re not for the news?”
With how few people actually had cameras around here, she’d only really heard about them being used for news before.

"Ah ha ha. That’s right, but it’s still fun to taste. Didn’t I say that too?"
Those almost look too cute to eat, but at the sight of the food they’re so curious about, the excitable fairies grab the tray before Dai can reach for it and fly off to one of the tables. At least they have the manners to sit down to eat, even if it’s on the table instead of the chairs.
“Sorry. I think they want to eat first. After I told them about your sandwiches they got really excited to try them. I’ll go look though, thank you!”
Dai gives a wave as she goes off to follow Eris suggestion, heading to the changing room to rummage for clothes for herself and the other fairies while they ate their sandwiches. Some of them do notice Dai going elsewhere and follow her though... carrying their sandwiches into the changing room. Oh dear, that might lead to a mess.
The tengu pushed her glasses up a little, feeling that they were going to fall off, watching the fairy as she came closer. Otoha kept her friendly smile, wondering what the fairy was watching her for. “ That’s quite alright, I wasn’t expecting to see anyone while I was here. “ She glanced around for any more people that were hiding. “
“ Hello back. “ The photographer spoke, seeming relaxed about the other’s presence. “ I’m guessing if you were staring at me, you wanted to talk or something? “ She tilted her head a little. “ Which is fine with me, since today is pretty swell. “
They’re not actually as alone as Otoha might think. Dai isn’t the only one that lives on the Misty Lake, so there’s a lot of fairies to be found about the place. Most look like they naturally belong here though, so it’s understandable one might just think of them as part of scenery even as they fly about. Dai wouldn’t be much different, if not for how much larger she was.
“Y-yes, I... um, actually, no I didn’t.” She’s slightly bumbling over herself, not realising how rude that might have sounded. “I just hadn’t seen you before, and a lot of the time when someone new shows up somethings happening. But you were just sitting there so I thought you were waiting for something and wanted to see what it was.”
Wriggle places an insect on Dai's head. Are you a friend to the crawlies, Dai? This is a test.
"Hi, Wriggle.Who’s your friend?” She seems content to let the insect rest atop her head, even being so kind as to stay still so it doesn’t fall off. She is a nature fairy after all, it’d be weird if she wasn’t comfortable with all the bugs outside.

The tengu sat at the edge of the lake, splashing her feet in the water. She had kept her camera on top of a nearby rock that had a few flat spaces, though she had brought a towel and laid it underneath to avoid scratches. It was a gorgeous day, though she was in no mood for a swim, nor did she have the clothes to do such a thing.
Otoha glanced around, looking what sort of scene she wanted to shoot, only to notice that someone was gazing at her from afar. “ Huh? “ She adjusted her glasses a bit, squinting her eyes a bit to get a better look. She waved at the person to come on over and talk.
Dai had been staring a rather long time without realising. New people were always a curiosity but on her own she lacked the courage to approach them. When they waved at her, it snapped her out of her stare and she looked around to see if there was anyone else they were waving at. Nope, it was just her, floating in plain sight over the water of the lake. After a moments hesitation, she fluttered over to the beckoning newcomer.
“H-hi.” She starts off timidly.”I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to stare.”
If one were to look through the small pile of books that Dai keeps, they’d find that most of them are the typically child like ones people would expect from fairies. Picture books, simple stories, and the like.
There is one book that is unlike the others though. A maths book, filled with all sorts of formulas pertaining to some very advanced fields of study. This might point to Dai having a far greater intelligence then she lets on.
But really she just thinks all the diagrams are nice to look at. She has no idea what they mean.
" Miss, is there a sort of author that you follow when it comes to reading your favorite books? "
“Not really. I just find books I get to take home sometimes and read all of them. I do have a pile of books I like to read again though.” It’s not an especially big, or neat pile, but it’s something.
“Hope you enjoyed the kiss!”
It’d be dishonest to say no, but it’s too embarrassing to say yes, so the only response Koa gets is red faced silence and flustered fidgeting.
Running around collecting kisses is tiring. She needs to rest.

Oh, a fairy? The highschooler had never really encountered a fairy like the one standing here with herself or one who wanted something as intimate as a kiss, but... She might as well roll with it..? She doesn’t fancy getting pranked on if she declines. A quick cheek peck it is then.
“I... I’m not quite sure as of who you are, but I hope you’re pleased with that...”
“Yep. And don’t worry, I don’t know who you are either.”
She barely seems to acknowledge the awkwardness the girl is giving off. Seemingly satisfied with the kiss, she flutters off without any further ado. No time to talk, there’s more kisses to collect!

This kiss she holds for a little longer than she has to, just to tease the fairy as much as possible.
This is the face Seija’s treated to before the fairy flies away. Kiss collecting is turning out more dangerous than Dai thought.
“!” Flustered fairy wasn’t expecting anything more than cheek or forehead kisses.
