GUNS AND SEASHELLS

Dressing up in the province is one of my everyday struggles. Aside from the scorching heat (which usually takes 35 degrees everyday during summer months), some people might not understand the pieces of clothes you are wearing. So as much as possible I’m always trying to avoid weird or classic pieces here in the province.

Since it really hot better wear pastel-y or summer-y sets of clothes. A piece of button down would be a comfy one to wear matching with either a colored chino or shorts. This will prevent you from soaking in your own sweat. And of course match it with a worn out sneakers. Chuck Taylor or Converse would be best if you are planning to roam around at the park. Most importantly plain is boring so accessories are very important, match your outfit with sets of good accessories but in this set I chose to wear a gold casio watch which you can wear it in any kind of clothes.

HOLIDAZE CRAZE

Its Christmas time again, the most beautiful and wonderful time of the year. Time of giving and forgiving. May we not forget the real essence of Christmas. Give thanks to Him for his abundant blessings. Give love. And let us all celebrate the birth our Savior Jesus Christ. Happy Holidays everyone! Wishing you a Merry Christmas. 

There’s nothing more special that spending the holidays with your love ones. I got lucky and blessed this year because I was able to celebrate the holidays with my family. For 3 consecutive years that I am not with them during these special days finally was able to join them this time. Here are some of the snapshots during our Christmas day.

SUIT AND MASK

Last 18th of December, our company held its annual Christmas / Year End Celebration at the Pan Pacific Hotel and Casino, Manila. Of all the events for the whole year, this one is the grandest for all the employees because this is the time where they get together since almost half of the employees are deployed in the different parts of the country. Every year they always come up with a theme. Last year was Red Christmas but this time is different -- its Masquerade.

Since this is my first Christmas celebration with the company, of course I have to be prepared for this event. Hahaha Went to the event with a blue suit and tie. 

I’ve been so stressed thinking of the best attire to wear on a Masquerade Ball. I have been searching over the internet what would be the best suit but still didn’t see any. Good thing I have a friend who attended such an event already. Glad we have come up with a great stylish and classy set of suit and tie.

The theme should have a touch of gold and green. Yeah you heard it right -- green and gold! Since these are two contradicting colors I’ve decided to put these colors on my mask. {Imagine me wearing gold suit and a pair of green shoes. Crazy!}

Guys, meet the NL2 babies. We handles almost all the parts of Northern Luzon. Still managed to dress and look good after those stressful days. Good job team mates for we have the most prepared team.

HE’S SO EXCITED

Few more days to go before xmas vacay starts and I am really excited. Well who wouldn’t be excited for the holidays? Look at that smile thou, that smile projects my excitement for the upcoming Christmas vacation. 

 These coming days are jam-packed with activities. My xmas to-do-list is almost full bruuuhhh. I will be traveling back to Mla today to attend a meeting and this coming friday I will be attending my first ever Christmas party with our company. Will be staying there until Sunday so I’ll be idle for a while guys, if you have snapchat you can follow me (@ iamsuperghelo) and lets have snapchies together.

A N O T H E R   S T O R Y   T O   T E L L

Christmas is just around the corner. For me, I already feel it because nights are now getting colder and colder. I can now see people roving around the malls doing their Christmas shopping. Streets are brighter and colorful because of those huge and beautiful decorations.  And most of my friends are now out of town to have their own vacations.

Last night, I asked my friend to go out just to eat miki, one of Vigan’s famous dishes, because I was craving for it but little did we know that it was Gabriela Silang General Hospital’s (also known as Ilocos Sur Provincial Hospital) opening night of their very own Tree Lighting / Christmas Villages. Doing it for 3 years in a row, it was nice seeing again each of the hospital department showcase their creative Christmas decors. Aside from those eye catching decors there is also an acoustic band singing which makes the night more romantic for those lovers. 

The night was full of fun. Kudos to all those brilliant minds who came up with this idea.
