Usually I start this out with my cycle day because I used to talk about my cycle day like it was the day of the week. This one is different because I honestly do not know my cycle day unless I check my apps, and I don’t want to do that.

I’m sure no one noticed, but I took a little break from this blog. Shortly after my last post, my husband and I found out that his azoospermia is non obstructive and our only chance at a fully biological child is IVF. He has to undergo a TESE procedure to try to extract sperm cells but we were warned there is no guarantee he has any.

We are now waiting to hear from a reproductive endocrinologist for scheduling to start my fertility testing so that we can hopefully move forward with an egg retrieval on my part when we do my husbands TESE.

Cd 12

I’ve only loosely been tracking ovulation lately. I’ll take my temperature in the morning so that I stay in the habit of doing so, I haven’t peed on any sticks in a few months, and only log my cm when it happens to be on the tp. Hubby and I have also only been bding when we actually want to, which honestly isn’t very often right now.

I’m just ready to move forward with our journey and be out of this unknown phase. Since we do not know the cause of his azoospermia yet, we do not know what route we are going to have to take.

In the meantime, to keep our minds off things, we have been focusing on getting healthy for when we are pregnant. We have been waking up at 5 am to workout in the morning, meal prepping lunches, and making healthy dinners. Since this is the only thing I can control in our conceiving journey at the moment, you can bet your ass I’m not giving up on being healthy so I can be the best mama when my time comes.

Cd 6

I’ve been taking a break from ttc socials and groups as the holidays have been extra hard. I decided to come back for a little update though. Hubby and I had our urology appointment finally and it was confirmed that he has azoospermia. He is getting hormone and genetic testing done to hopefully reveal the cause of his azoospermia before we can move forward.

my future baby will be so loved and supported and welcomed. they will only know softness and safety in our house and I can't wait to watch/help them grow into and spread that love.

Cd 2

Hubby and I finally received a call yesterday about when our appointment with urology would be. January 5 is the big day. It’s still a month away and that makes me sad that we will have another wasted cycle but I’m glad we finally know when we will be seen. We’ve been in a huge unknown place and still are except now we know when we will finally get some answers.

I’m also struggling today. If we would have gotten pregnant right away, today would have been the due date. I could have been holding our precious child today.

My husbands semen analysis came back and he has a count of 0. I am completely heartbroken and upset right now. My chest hurts. I just want a baby and to grow our family.

CD 6

Af ended 2 days ago. I’m excited about this cycle and going to start opks in the next few days. Hubby is also getting a semen analysis done today. I’m feeling hopeful that nothing is wrong on his part or that it’s easily fixable.
