Here’s how it looked in the end. I was urged to mostly leave it be as it was more “contemporary.” I guess it was liked enough to get into a competition

Bothers me that people think there is some inherent quality that makes me a “good” or “better” artist. I feel like I’ve brute forced this shit lmao

Experiment with utilizing indirect painting. Oil, 11x17in iirc.

Really nice look in person. It was fun to break a bit from direct realism. It feels done!

Update on painting, got all the skin in.

Thinking about going to actual art school. For oil painting. Applied to a few places, rejected from one still waiting on the other. It’s weird! It’s weird.

I feel like I should try to organize my digital and traditional art spaces but ahh who cares. Big WIP I started yesterday, be ready for me to be annoying about it

Lowkey ran out of steam halfway through this. Trying to find good direction in my character work in stories. Somethin about belonging, making a home, that all being imagined and false. Im figuring it out

Need to get back into digital art and need to post about my art. scene I don't think could be real in my current plot. Went crazy with the background elements, almost takes on a futuristic feel. Kind of love it.
