He wasn’t EXPECTING anything, he knew that trying to find his former General was going to be... difficult, but to run into Ahsoka? It was impossible in the long run for him to predict it and he ended up suffering for it as the blade was trusted right into his back, “Well... hello to you too.” He managed to get out lightly.
She only gave a harsh laugh and stepped after him. “What’s the matter, Slick? Afraid of me? You didn’t used to be. In fact, you were once quite eager for me to even consider allowing you to bring us both pleasure.”
“Afraid of you?” He asked with an eyebrow lofted, “No.” That was a lie, he was slightly terrified to be around her, but mainly due to the fact of how often Wyndel wanted to torture him. Yet, that was another story fully as he gulped down his fear, “Uncomfortable, yes.”
“And just who are you trying to protect? Your brothers? You’re allowing your General to torture them for not being good enough. That doesn’t sound very much like protection to me.”
“I’m allowing them to live --- We don’t even see combat out side of Xylek’s special missions.” The words came out smoothly even though he didn’t care if she wouldn’t like it, “We are the best of the best and if you don’t like it? Well, who cares..”
“You’re a kriffing shabuir. And I can tell you right now that we did talk about your agreement and it was altered. Ask him yourself if you don’t believe me.”
“ --- And you know what? I don’t think I care, Revan. I take Orders from him and him alone. Not you.... sadly, I don’t know why he even likes you, but then again? I’m not one to question who he fucks.”
“We’re not soldiers,” she said simply, shifting the droid’s headless body out of the way and drawing her lightsaber, “Yes, we have a few war heroes but… We were never meant to be this involved in the military like this.”
That didn’t excuse Jedi generals that didn’t consider the real costs of their strategies, didn’t understand that it wasn’t droids, but human men, that they were sacrificing. She knew that. In fact, she condemned it. But it wasn’t her place to question more experienced Jedi knights and Masters, no matter how morally reprehensible she thought they might be.
There were more important things at stake here.
“Slick, this is a bit… Unconventional, but…. I have a plan. But you need to stick very, very close to me. And be ready to move quickly.”
She hadn’t fully mastered her Force Cloak, and there weren’t many Jedi who could drill her in it, but the war had pushed her to increase her range and endurance with the skill. To outsiders, non-Jedi (and even to Jedi) it seemed a bit… far-fetched, but she was deadly serious. If she could get them back to friendly faces, they might have a chance of getting back safe.
Slick had to restrain himself from actually rolling his eyes at the first comment --- it didn’t matter if the General’s were not meant to be warriors, but what truly mattered was that they were. That was, in essence, the true fact of the matter, and with War, everything changed ( Including the rules of living).
Yet, Clones were made for War --- they were bread for this damned Clone War since before it was even thought of, and for what? For his Brother’s to be killed day and night for no reason at all. The very thought of having to fight made him sick to his stomach --- fighting for the very same Jedi that were murdering his brothers.
However, his mind was snapped back into reality after her final words. She was right, they both had to move quickly, and get out of the area before something else happened. The Droids might have been the least of his worries, but that wasn’t the most important aspect of the situation at this moment in time --- they needed to get out of there, and that was exactly what he was going to do.
“I’m all about the unconventional.” Slick managed to get out quickly before nodding, “Close to you ... got it.”
“Nope, not at all.” Tari practically chirped, smiling sweetly at Slick. Being around Wyndel was apparently having an effect on her. “I want to see my niece. He can punish me all he likes afterwards, but all I want is a few hours with her.”
“Fine, a few hours then.” He managed to get out lightly, “Just a few hours and then if he doesn’t want my head? I think I will take you out to eat --- my treat.”

To say the least, Slick was not expecting to see Ahsoka anytime soon --- he wasn’t even expecting to see anyone out here. Not to mention that he was a traitor, but that was another story.
In essence, he was leaning against the wall with out any thoughts on his mind other than getting food later on, and then there she was. With-in an instant he found himself gripping the wound with both of his hands with a grunt. Slick knew relaxing wasn’t a decent thing to do right about now, but being out of the GAR had given him a few new looks on life, and relaxation was one of them.
“What do you want?” He hissed out even though he was more worried about getting away with out another fight --- he didn’t need to be dragged back to a cell.

Tari blinked and looked down at her clothes. Because she was visiting Niner here on Kamino, she had taken to wearing clone fatigues to help her blend in and make her less noticeable to the Kaminoans.
Looking back up at the young clone, a soft blush crept across her cheeks as she shook her head. “I—-I shouldn’t be, but…if it is, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to.”
@nervousmando
The young Clone rubbed at the back of his head for a few moments, he didn’t expect to come out too harsh, but he knew he had. She wasn’t like the rest of his Brothers or the ones who looked after the Clones, but still… It was slightly un-nerving in the long run.
“What are you doing here? I don’t see many...” He trailed off for several moments with a faint chuckle, “I don’t see many others besides my Brother’s around here.”
A smirk settled onto Ventress’s face as she looking him up and down before she began to creep towards him, almost as if she were a large cat stalking its prey. “I was here to speak with someone else—-Revan asked to speak to me and I admit I was…curious to meet her.”
“Uh-huh.” He managed to get out lightly as he rubbed at his neck, the way that she looked at him --- it made him highly uncomfortable, and rarely anything did that, “You go do that then.” He managed to get out lightly as he inched away from her.
Revan sighed. “I’m only trying to do what’s best for you. If you can’t see that, than I’m sorry.”
Slick snorted, “I can see what you are doing, you would rather get me killed then let me protect them! Don’t you know why I was given command? I don’t ask questions and I follow Orders!”
“Well, then, since I wasn’t ordered to keep close to the Battalion so maybe I’ll visit Udesla. Guess you’re going to have to come with me to follow your orders.”
“You’re not going to make this easy are you?” Of course she wasn’t, but he did at least try for the most part, “Alright.” He managed to get out lowly, “I will come with you, but he isn’t going to like this.”
