So this is the first time I’ve experienced having a child taken and then adopted by another family in the same hood. The child’s memories and family tree are all wiped when they arrive in their new home.

Which is sad enough.

But.

Apparently they do keep their skill points and things they’ve learned. And Brandi had taught Beau a nursery rhyme before he was taken. So sometimes Beau sings the song to himself...The only link he has left to his birth mother.
