This. Kid. Loves. Bread. Eating bread was out of our routine for quite a while and now that Miles can’t get enough of it I’ve started making my own.

Soaking up the Sun
The sun was out, the heat was on so we got out to enjoy it. Miles took a nap and Missy played in the sand while mama took a nap. :)
17 Months
Just woke up and ready for breakfast. Maybe.
Homeschool
We are continuing to homeschool into Kindergarten this year. Kindergarten is so fun! We officially started in early September and Mitch gave Missy a Father’s Blessing. I love being able to watch my girl learn and grow in curiosity. She is so dang smart!
Birthday Weekend
Welcome back to NY! Walking through Central Park on a rainy day led us to see this guy...right after 3 others ran across the path in front of us. Eeek!
In Cali
Missy slept in her Princess makeover hair. Sounds painful to me. But to a 4 year old I guess by keeping it in means that the memory is still happening. Little cutie.
Surprise!
Missy woke up not knowing she would be hanging out with Princesses all day. Surprise! We’re going to Disneyland!
In Cali
While in Cali we went on a bike ride to the beach. Missy and Miles got to sit together and enjoy the ride.
In Cali
We took some time away from the big city to enjoy a slower paced week at the beach.
On a Sunday
German pancakes with coconut flour for breakfast. Recipe here. It turned out great and both kids enjoyed eating it.
Being reverent at church.
Mitch was away in London and Missy made this sweet sign for him when he came home. Such a sweetie.
Coney Island
I took my babies to the beach. Because going to the beach and being with my kids makes me happy. Combine the two and the perfect day is made.
A New York Summer
Holy smokes! We got dumped on while on our way home from a friend’s house. One minute there was no rain, the next minute we had what felt like a hose right above our heads. We were drenched! Except for Miles who stayed mostly dry in the stroller. Thankful for a place to come home to and dry off.
Pennsylvania
We left the city for a weekend in August.
A New York Summer
Miles wants to see what big sis is doing.
A New York Summer
Chocolate!!!
A New York Summer
Acai bowl lovin. Frozen berries, frozen acai packet, banana topped with more banana and pistachios.
A Date in Bryant Park
I took Missy on a date to Bryant Park. Flaubert Frog was doing a storytime with Jane Goodrich and her book, “New York is my Playground.”
