Man. This whole situation is a bit chaotic.
After the mess clears up, I might have to apply at Grizzco.
Though I should introduce myself! The name is Kirav. My family owns a restaurant in the square.
We make some of the spiciest fish curry around! We get some buisness, but we’d love to see new faces. Thought advertising wouldn’t hurt.

He carefully walked to the stairs, going to the top of them. “Atlas? Are you still here?” He called out, walking by the offices.
He was just checking over his uniform when he heard Kirav, and he smiled. "Yeah, I'm here. What's up? Everything good?"
He smiled, approaching the octoling, giving him a big hug. “I just wanted to see you before the big run. All my friends seem so stressed and I just… wanted to have a moment to speak to you.” He let go, taking a step back. He felt his cheeks and ears grow warm as he looked down at Atlas. “Please stay safe. Sounds like a lot is going on.”
He chuckled. "I'll be alright. I really don't think much can get me, at this point. After all I've done? Heh. As if." His smile grew even softer. "But...yeah, of course. You stay safe too, okay? I don't want anything happening to you."
He put a hand on Atlas’ shoulder, meeting his gaze. Despite all of their past encounters, he seemed overtly aware of everything going on. His hearts were racing, and he was overtly aware of his emotions. He’d never really stopped to spend time focusing on them. He knew atlas was his friend, and that he felt a different type of affection towards him. He realized how late it was getting. “Shit. I don’t want to hold you here… uh.” He hesitated. Maybe it was impulsive, but he gave Atlas a quick kiss, pressing his beak to his. He quickly pulled away. “I… you have some ruins to defend. I’ll be waiting for some lower hazard shifts. Good luck.” He gave a little wave, before darting down the stairs to sign up for freelance

workout regimen day 1: yeahhh i have no idea what i'm doing. tried the rock-climbing thing and barely got three feet off the ground before falling flat on my back... messed around with some other equipment. so much of it is just,,, really daunting. saw some other guys who have prolly been going to musselforge for years at this point going through weights and stuff like they were nothing. some jellyfish crossed the whole ceiling on the rock-climbing thing. should've known i would've felt even more like shit by going and seeing everybody else in better shape than i am... it'll probably get better the more i go i guess,,, i should at least try to get my money's worth out of this.
anyway, i ran into null from colorgraphic. she said she was doing ok despite everything that happened. apparently the band's doing some promotional thing at mahi mahi resort and she needed to lose a couple pounds for it and that's why she was there. makes sense i guess,,, being famous is a lot of work.
it'll get better. i just have to keep telling myself that.

One thing that’s important for early on is cardio, which you’d get from the treadmills or exercise bikes. The key to not overdoing it is to find what your comfortable pace is, and push just enough to feel some exhaustion but not enough to where you can’t continue. Hard to do much else if you aren’t use to warming up!
Oh! If I’m correct singers often have to warm up their voices even before practice. Maybe you can channel those thoughts towards your body bro!
Since theatre requires a lot of dancing, My advice is have a primary focus on core strength, but don’t neglect other parts of your body bro! Make sure you set aside a few days for other parts of your body.
You’ll get there bro! Dont be afraid to ask someone to help you spot if you ever need it, and remember to drink plenty of water.
Cyclone is there sometimes, so he might be able to help you out as well!

Brooo they are super chill and understanding! I think they’d be willing to let you try again. Even then, having a membership is nice! Gotta build up some more strength for all that dancing you do in theatre.

The gym is nice! Besides, having a little muscle might be nice, theatre dude. You get a nice sense of achievement there as well, and often the guys are really encouraging. Nothing brings the lads together like working hard and sweating as you build up muscle. Good luck on your job!

How’s big run looking by the way?

i am going to inkblot art academy this fall,,, freaking the shell out over everything while i'm making sure i'm all set for the classes i'm signing up for,,, probably gonna need to get myself a new job over the summer to pay for tuition and books and stuff. i was gonna stay at my mom's house instead of living on campus anyway, so that's one extra thing i don't have to pay for at least...
seems like everybody's going to inkblot these days. lemme know how college life works out for ya dude
I felt this. College is great but definitely was not something I needed to do. Thankfully my family’s restaurant and grizzco combined make enough.
When Atlas woke up, he was in a hospital bed.
It took him a few moments to register. The beeping of machinery, the cold, sterilized smell...
He immediately began to thrash, tearing the tubes and wires out of himself and sending the machines into a frenzy until a nurse rushed in. She injected something, and Atlas was out again.

When he woke up again, he was strapped down. Figured. He felt like he was going crazy, might as well be treated like it.
Was anyone even here to see him, or was he alone? Did they save his sorry ass and then throw him here to rot?

Kirav walked in not too long later. “Sorry I wasn’t here. I still had to help out at the restaurant. How are you feeling?” He pulled one of the chairs up, sitting next to the hospital bed. He tenderly placed a hand on Atlas’ arm. “Everyone was worried sick.” He whispered.
He seemed startled, blinking a couple times before looking away. "...they shouldn't have been. I'm just being stupid and reckless."
“Well, I think anyone would be worried. Cubby and I found you. If cubby didn’t explain first aid to me I don’t know if you would have made it. I’m… not the best with that sort of stuff.” He awkwardly rubbed the back of his head.
“The Bear himself pretty much threatened to kill everyone if you weren’t safe. I rode a boat out to the coordinates found on your tracker. Cubby hijacked a chopper. In the meantime… wanna hear what you’ve missed?”
Cubby...cod, he really couldn't do anything right, could he? He was supposed to keep her away from seeing that...but he couldn't keep his mouth shut.
He bit his lip.
"Actually, um..." He felt stupid and selfish already. "...can I have a hug? You...you can explain everything eventually, I just..." He trailed off, his gaze going down to his restraints. "...I guess I'd need these off first. Heh..."
“I don’t know I’ll get in trouble for this, but sure.” He chuckled, gently undoing them. He reached out with his large arms, sitting Atlas up and hugging him close. “I got you dude, ok? I’m so glad you’re ok.” He whispered.
He couldn't help himself, burying his head in Kirav's shoulder and letting out a trembling sob. "I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. I never wanted to hurt any of you."
“I got you. Maybe once you get back home, I can help take care of you until you are stable. Don’t overwork yourself either.” He gently stroked Atlas’ head, brushing his tentacle aside slightly. “I didn’t realize your tentacles were so soft… always imagined them to be a lot more firm than inklings.”
"They are..? I...guess I never cared to know." He sighed, leaning against the other. "Y'know, I should...probably text Roe. She probably feels terrible."
“I’m sure she will just be glad to see you again. When you get discharged I’ll bring you over to the Inkopolis grizzco… and hopefully not be startled by a salmonid coming out of a basement I didn’t even know existed.” He chuckled. Holding Atlas close to him.
He let out a soft sigh. "She's coming over anyways, eheh...oh, well. I suppose it's better to ease her worries now rather than later." He slid his phone off to one side. "But...I like this, right now. This is okay, I think."
