A refractor telescope uses a glass lens at its end to gather light and as it goes through the device, the light will bend and bounce off a miniature mirror on the eyepiece, where as a spectator, you’ll have the ability to see a lot sharper, bigger picture of the item you’re considering. There’s an alternative name for such a telescope viz., the ‘Dioptric telescope’. Although the type of scope is miniature, it’s well suited for looking at moon, the planets and other celestial bodies within the solar system.
