I'm obsessed with Maul having sharp fangs because Zabraks are carnivorous and no jokes I think he would bite into someone's throat if the fight got far enough, I even believe he would straight up eat some mouthful of an especially hated enemy in an act of triumph and insult towards them. I absolutely can see him feasting on Sidius' heart, the guy deserves it.

ASL test animation for my post-RE9 mute!Zeno AU.

I recently came up with the AU where Zeno is revived and is being held captive in Chris's care, but his vocal cords didn't heal properly and has been rendered mute and has to communicate through writing on a notepad and learn sign language, which Chris teaches him the basics.

Because he isn't trusted enough to be given a device like a phone or laptop in case he tries to contact TC, he has to make do with a notepad and sign language. Over time and through Zeno's sign language learning they start to bond and develop romantic attachments for each other.

Seems like people liked my headcanons about Maul's Zabrak nature, so i have more to add.

All Zabraks have heightened senses, so does Maul. He can hear his love's heartbeat if he's close enough, he listens to their breathing every night, and gets alert if he can't, he will hear them scream for help miles away.

His keen eye combined with practiced observation will notice every micro expression and change in the mood, a single stain of blood and scar that wasn't there before. He can notice little moles and marks on the skin or ridges in their irises regular people would ignore, and with the natural curiosity of a predator, he will examine them. He can comfortably navigate in the darkness where his squad mates will struggle, standing and smugly observing their attempts.

He can sense the scent of his love even before they enter the room. It's hard to hide from him, because, aside the force, he will definitely sense they were there. He feels so much safer in his bed if the scent of someone he loves has settled on it. He's been breathing the smoke of Mustafar and the grime of Lotho Minor for so long his lover's musk is sweeter than he'd care to admit. He probably can smell when they're on their period if they get them lol.

Can we talk about the fact that Maul chose to give Devon specifically the half of his saber that was with him since TPM and which is supposed to be pretty precious to him, instead of giving her the other half? Man just goes around giving a thing that is supposed to be an extension of himself to a girl he wants to adopt. And I'm assuming that half will stay with her because we don't see Maul using it in Rebels.

Unless... I — as a not complete nerd about star wars — know that Maul kept Kenobi's lightsaber after TPM and coupled it with his old half after Lotho Minor, and i figure he still has it in the Shadow Lord. And it just makes it worse. That Maul would prefer to give his own instead of the saber of his sworn enemy he's very gay about who is presumed dead.

There are many favourite characters of mine that I know and feel like won't want children on their own, and Maul is not one of them. That man would enjoy to multiply on cellular level and randomly pop out a baby. He has it in his blood Sidius just irreversibly spoiled his parental instincts.

Sharing is caring so tell me about your favourite obiwan relationship headcanons. I'll start first:

They both do little bit of everything but Obi-Wan is generally the comforting and caring side. He's cuddling and keeping them warm, treating their wounds, carrying Maul around when the chronic pains get particularly bad, overall treating him like the princess he is- WHO SAID THAT? But Maul is the controlling one, in a protective way. He's the first to take the initiative as soon as danger kicks in, and despite his habit of taking morally questionable decisions he's pretty good at it, he may hate it but he's a fierce guardian when he actually cares to bother. His leading nature even extends to family matters down to houseshores and managing the random kids they adopt along the way (Luke cough cough). Zabraks tend to be fussy strict parents lol.

Alongside many awesome headcanons of other people and myself, i especially love the ones that involve Zabrak nature. Zabraks are extremely social creatures with many reflexes and instincts. Maul is simply wired to be an affectionate lover and it scares him. It's almost unsettling for him how he feels a deep purr form in his throat every time his love interest touches him, how the nest formed out of carelessly crumpled blankets feels safer than it should, how their scent is automatically calming him and the urge to rub his forehead against theirs, marking them as *his*, is almost unbearable. He despises the way his brain knows exactly how to soothe a fussy child, or the way his teeth bare with a growl to protect his own. Maul wasn't raised to care, he never did that before, but his body knows how to and it catches him off guard every time.

Devon was despicing and refusing to follow Maul because he had murdered people. Honey, wait 'till you learn he has eaten them too.

The fact that Maul ALWAYS wears gloves pushes me towards a headcanon that he's got some terrible lightning scars left from his tough apprenticeship.

I'll forever mourn Maul not having canine fangs or even claws. He's supposed to be a member of species that survive in extreme environments and his whole character is being a feral killing machine WHERE ARE THA FANGS FILONI??
