but can i say how much i love scenes like this in the pokemon anime???  not a single word was spoken and yet you know these characters, you can tell how they feel about eachother you can tell literally everything about what they’re thinking, they give the pokemon SO much character compared to the admittedly bland character traits of the people, and yet we see so little of them. for all the shit the anime gets its pretty darn nice sometimes
