My favourite drinks in Taiwan's convenience stores

There are a lot of choices in Taiwan's convenience stores, and these two are my absolute favourites - 飲冰室茶集.

Black Milk Tea (the pink one): it tastes a bit sweet and the black tea aroma is very strong. It goes well with cookies and biscuits.

Green Milk Tea (the green packaging): this is another flavour from the same brand. I feel like it goes better with savoury food like bento items.

Taiwan Traditional Food Recommendation

The food you must try when traveling in Taiwan.

There are tons of tasty foods in Taiwan. Today I am going to introduce you to classic Taiwanese street food.

Oyster Omelet (蚵仔煎)

It's a combination of oysters, veggies, and eggs. With the sauce, it's like heaven. It tastes chewy and crispy because it's semi-fried. Sometimes it can be a little oily, so it's better to eat it fresh, right on the spot.

You can find oyster omelets all around Taiwan, but I'd recommend the one at Guangzhou Street Tourist Night Market (near MRT Longshan Temple Station). It's located inside the night market, and there are several seats beside the vendor so you can sit down and enjoy the food right away. However, the weather there can be quite unpredictable, so it's better to visit the night market when it's not raining.
