*VIP blog closes tonight* Closing chapters isn’t something that happens cold turkey, it’s been a long and rollercoaster process of transition and I still don’t know exactly where I’m heading. This entire shoot was a full day and amazing collaboration with the gorgeous model and photographer @briannamorrell posing alongside her life partner and gentle giant @dauntlessimg in his modeling debut, with the added talents of @hmua_caitlinalyce who went out of the box to use us as her human canvases. This day, and the results, are exemplary of the work and life that I love, and the reason why no matter what I know in some capacity or another I will always keep creating. After all, it’s what we are here to do. It’s taken a long time to learn to let go, and it’s still a daily journey, but ultimately I know that my love was meant to be and that I can learn to live without fear because one day, in this life or the next, in this world or another, the moon will bring you back to me. I’m not putting my life on hold or clinging to what was any longer, but I still love my husband more than words can say, and I send nothing but love and forgiveness, unconditionally, to him each and every day. He was the sun and I am the moon, and the entire universe is in harmony for us to, occasionally, even if briefly, but always, once again collide. I hope you’re well, husband. So grateful to be spending time with my beautiful grammie (can you see the resemblance??) who has been a constant support my entire life and who has had nothing but words of encouragement and wisdom for me during the past year as I’ve been going through the darkest points in my life during this split with my husband.
