incredibly disappointed that there’s no niche of kalevala memes on here, but nevertheless, I will persist and singlehandedly create that niche myself.
There are so many creepy yet enchanting moments in Rauta-aika, a 1980s Finnish TV production loosely based on The Kalevala.
The closest thing we have to a screen adaptation of The Kalevala: Rauta-aika the tv mini-series from 1982.
