There was a lot of blood. She had it up her arms, on her face and much of her front. Her clothes tattered. But she wasnât being brought in with the wounded, she was helping to bring them in before she was departing to get cleaned up. It had gone far better than she could imagine, the wendigo hadnât attacked anyone it shouldnât, seemed to steer clear of the other residents. It made her look forward to heading back out in a few hours.Â

Max hadnât been too happy when heâd been turned down to fight. Even if he may not be the one to throw the first punch, he damned sure had that fire in him and wouldnât have hesitated. Not that he liked this place or anything but he got the feeling that those attacking would be worse. Heâd been leaned against the door, trying not to make it obvious that he was waiting for Azazelâs face to return when the other fighters had started to file in. Max waited and waited, but the demon never came through. There was a bit of unease at that, a bit of panic and he snapped forward when he caught sight of a bloody Avery. âHey!â he said, grabbing her arm. âYa--uh...D-Did ya see...Is everybody...â
