i don't have any beautiful bright memories anymore, everything is just grey. so instead maybe you could share some of yours?

i was in the middle of the saddest scene of this movie i was watching and i was on the phone with fleur and i started sobbing (even though i told him i never cried during movies) and it was late so he had been in and out of sleep but he had woken up to my sniffling and asked me if i was crying so i started crying harder and said yes and he was like “guess what” and i was like *loud snotty sniffle* “what” and that was the first time he told me he loved me and i of course sobbed hARDER and said it right back

so when i was watching “her” on the phone with him, sobbing my eyes out over scarjo and joaquin phoenix…

i had somehow fallen in love.

I’m having a conversation with one of my friends and I ask him, “What defines you?” and he responded with, “Nothing. A definition excludes the possibility for change.”

When I was 16 I tried to kill myself because I felt weird and I felt different and I felt like I did not belong. And now I’m standing here. So I would like this moment to be for that kid out there who feels like she’s weird or she’s different or she doesn’t fit in anywhere. Yes, you do. I promise you do. Stay weird. Stay different. And then when it’s your turn to stand on this stage please pass the same message to the next person who comes along.
