CHUU for MAPS magazine (February 2023)
(230113) update on LOONA’s situation
the Japan concert is still on, despite “performers might be subject to change”
fab will end its contract with LOONA, services will end on February 11th 2023
HeeJin, Kim Lip, JinSoul and Choerry’s contracts have been temporarily suspended as of today, January 13th 2023
HaSeul, YeoJin, Yves, Go Won and Olivia Hye’s contracts have not been suspended as they seem to have made some changes to their contracts about 1-2 years ago
This is not the court’s final ruling. The final verdict has yet to be made.
Newsen publicy calls out BBC for being a liar “Yet, Blockberry Creative lied to Newsen on November 28 last year when news broke of some members filing an injunction, saying that ‘we confirm that this claim is groundless’. ”
the girls return to fab after weeks of silence
HaSeul: “The news is true, and I, for the team and for myself, will try until the end, so please cheer for us lots. There will be long and hard fights in the future too, but if Orbits are by our side | think we’ll be able to overcome it. And the content about payments, there was a lot of speculation thinking that we’ve been receiving payments. I can’t tell you in detail now, but I think I can tell you that that part is not true”
Choerry: “I really missed you, and I’m sorry I haven’t been able to come by, and thank you for always being by my side”
YeoJin: “…the news is true, since I was young, up until now, it has been a very difficult time to endure, and the lawsuit was scary and difficult but because we had Orbits I think I was able to come up with the courage. It will be scary and fearful again but if Orbits will be by our side I think I’ll be able to come up with the courage again”
Kim Lip: “Thank you sincerely for waiting, I have been looking over the messages and letter of support all this time.”
Go Won: “I’m sorry Orbit…”
JinSoul: “Orbit, thank you so much, you’ll be with us forever right? In the future, with all our members!”
Orbits, remember to continue boycotting, all the girls want to leave that company!

AND EVERYBODY CHEERED
reminder that supporting the comeback (ESPECIALLY financially) has a huge risk of backfiring on the girls. any money that BBC earn from this comeback could very well be used against the nine girls that filed injunctions for lawyers. another reminder that boycotting the comeback will not harm the girls personally. we know they do not get paid anyway. we know 9 out of 12 members that filed the injunctions are boycotting fab. that speaks volumes. there is a very high chance that none of the girls want to be doing this. do not give that corrupt company a single fucking penny.
adding some advice from the tags.
we want to completely limit all publicity for this comeback and just spread the word about how the members do not want this and how bbc are mistreating them (and have mistreated them in the past). talk about the teasers by all means, but do it privately. pirate the music by all means, but do it privately.
don’t let the word die down about bbc. keep spreading the word because we need support from the general public for the girls.
additionally, contact your local kpop stores! ask them not to stock the new album when it comes out, and briefly explain the reasoning that the fanbase is urging for a boycott due to how the company has been mistreating the members.
Albums stocked by (small) local kpop shops contribute to sales even if no one buys them and they just sit on the shelves, therefore Orbits have been contacting their local kpop shops to inform them about LOONA’s situation and the boycott. So far over 70 shops have agreed to join the boycott in support of LOONA and won’t be selling their albums.
You can also contact your local kpop shop and kindly ask them to join the boycott!

Dear Orbits, Friendly reminder not to buy any LOONA albums or stream their songs, music video’s or anything BBC uploads. BBC has never paid the girls nor the staff. With BBC’s history of mistreating the girls, kicking out Chuu and trying to defame her, and especially the horrible pain they put the girls through by making them do an awfully planned world tour, it is very clear that they don’t see the girls as anything but disposable cash cows. Any profits they make from this comeback will be used as a fund for lawyers to fight against the girls’ injunctions in the courtroom and another designer bag for the ceo’s wife. All the girls who have filed for an injunction (i.e. all members who are still under BBC except HyunJin and ViVi) have not posted anything since the news about the injunctions for contract termination. ViVi can’t file for an injunction that easily as she’s a foreigner and obtaining a visa to stay in the country might become a problem. HyunJin has stayed behind because she had an ongoing gig and not to leave ViVi behind. HyunJin has been very vocal about Chuu’s situation and showed her support. It is also very easy to tell from the messages she has sent that they didn’t know about a comeback. It is very clear that this comeback is a way to make some cash while they still can; a distraction from the ongoing injunctions, backlash for Chuu’s removal and the defamatory statement, fans’ claims of BBC being a money laundering front and evading taxes; and a ‘fuck you’ to Orbits and LOONA. Based on the girls’ silence it is safe to say the girls themselves don’t even want to do this comeback but they’re contractually obligated. Not participating would affect their case negatively. One last thing to note is that the Japanese concert got ‘postponed’ indefinitely and not ‘canceled’ thus many Orbits haven’t been refunded yet. For more information regarding the boycott you can head to LOONA Union’s twitter. tldr: if you care about the girls as human beings do not support this comeback: do not stream any songs or music video’s, do not buy album or merch, do not buy concert tickets, do not try to enter fansigns. Don’t give BBC any money in any way. Sincerely, Orbitloona
apparently the remaining members of Loona excluding Vivi & Hyunjin have filed lawsuits to terminate their contract with BBC
i need people to stop making jokes and understand how serious this situation is. this is defamation of chuus character AND a scare tactic to keep the other girls from speaking out. BBC is doing this, lying about chuu, to RUIN her. their hopes was to destroy her character so that no one would run to her defense. they wanted to SILENCE her and the other girls. chuu has people jumping to her defense because she is a GOOD PERSON. not because shes pretty. not because shes popular. its because she hasnt done ANY of what those allegations claim she has. abuse allegations RUIN idols. take any idol that was kicked from a group due to "bullying". BBC wanted to ruin her so she wouldnt expose THEM for the abuse SHE put up with. its safe to assume that the other 11 experience the SAME ABUSE. this isnt a fucking laughing matter, its a serious cycle of abuse and (attempted) silencing.
like i would def be more wary about idol treatment towards staff but coming from bbc it feels like it just falls flat when:
- they didn’t even provide chuu transportation between her solo schedules, she’s had to arrange it herself
- as stated before, bbc didn’t even pay choreographers and stylists
- they’re not paying their idols either and chuu is the first one to take them to court for it, so it just feels like retaliation at this point
- chuu can do it staff have already spoken up about how bbc’s claims are wrong
- the horrendous mistreatment during the world tour. first chuu not being there, and then almost being overworked to the point where they were performing EVERY OTHER DAY WITH NO BREAK IN BETWEEN NOR CONSIDERATION TO RESCHEDULE AND HALF OF THEM HAD TO MISS SHOWS BC THE TOLL WAS TOO HARD ON THEIR BODIES
bbc is such a nasty, tax evading money laundering scheme and i hope chuu sues for defamation and the girls can get out of that company asap
Btw the reason we all disbelieve blockberry's accusations against chuu is not just bc she is pretty and acts kind in front of cameras. Its because 1) this all very much reads as revenge bc she demanded to be fuckin Paid for her work & won a lawsuit against the company, 2) there is a lot of evidence of the group being mistreated and her trying to defend them and herself, and 3) so many ppl who worked with her are already speaking up about how the accusations are absurd.
