(was talking about this on my normal blog) ‘everybody wants to rule the world’ (by tears for fears) lyrics that i associate with fso6711.

prefacing this by i know what the song is about. these are just lyrics that i associate with fso6711 for my own pleasure. ❤️❤️ (i made fso6711 bracelets earlier!!)

“welcome to your life / there’s no turning back” - can fit into all three, right? hong lu creating the office, heathcliff joining fso after the exploitation of the other offices, sinclair maybe the same. it’s annoying how we don’t have an ut story for sinclair. i need to know more. hong lu especially for this, going against the elders with the haircutting stuff (that was very frowned upon)

“acting on your best behaviour” could be interpreted as heathcliff. again mention of him not having a steady income before fso, after being exploited. also the whole “when i was just gettin’ ready to smash the office to bits, trying to get a single word outta the bossman..”

“turn your back on mother nature” could be all three, hong lu turning away from his elders and only really talking to them for the money, changing himself completely. heathcliff leaving wuthering heights, turning his back on that horrid environment he grew up in. sinclair leaving calw after his family’s death and the whole kromer thing.

“it’s my own design / it’s my own remorse” - hong lu, buildup of the office, taking in heathcliff & sinclair. own design could be a nod towards the guns too, right? he’s the one who bought the firearms, but they all chose their own specific one. i dunno.

“help me to decide / help me make the / most of freedom & of pleasure” hong lu really again, he was isolated as a child, not really going by what he wanted to, only going ‘by the path of others.’ it also makes me think of his deployment voiceline “it’s been a while since i was under someone else’s command.” “help me to decide” could also resound with heathcliff’s desire to help hong lu in the base mirror world, when heathcliff showed obvious displeasure at hong lu just flowing away and going to the will of others. “most of freedom and of pleasure” this is a part of his life he can truly experience. he’s the boss now, he can decide his own choices. “of pleasure” could be the office working together, him and heathcliff being partners (not the romantic kind, psh i wish ☹️) and the way they all talk to eachother, the way hong lu & heath tease eachother.

“nothing ever lasts forever” - again. hong lu. GODDAMN HES HOGGING ALL THE LYRICS!! it could resound with all three, but it really feels like hong lu. it reminds me of him in canto 8, in the dungeon where he felt as if it was all worthless in a way. a reminder that life isn’t infinite, to enjoy the time between him, heathcliff and sinclair. just resounds with hong lu a lot.

“there’s a room where the light won’t find you / holding hands while the walls come tumbling down / when they do, i’ll be right behind you” - all three. specifically hong lu on the last lyric. “a room where the light won’t find you” feels like heathcliff due to his neglect in wh, then “holding hands with the walls come tumbling down” heathcliff & sinclair. i feel like they came from the same office before hong lu hired them. “the walls come tumbling down” reminds me of hong lu in his uptie story where he like wipes out the worshippers in his own special way. “i’ll be right behind you” all three supporting eachother, especially hong lu’s melee support. it’s all three supporting eachother in their own special ways, just.. uaagghh i miss them. their support of eachother..

“i can’t stand this indecision, married with a lack of vision” heathcliff. again resounds back that theme of heathcliff going against hong lu’s old way of going only for other people’s will. you could associate that line with what happened in wuthering heights, cathy, etc etc. “a lack of vision” the whole thing with him not knowing cathy wanted to be with him, then leaving due to that.

there’s probably a lot more i could associate with them but i’ve rambled too much and it’s too late at night for me to think properly. happy fso6711’ing

im talking about hongcliff now cuz they made me sad yesterday.

before i start this because im assured people wonder “does ichi ship heathcathy?” i do. i just prefer hongcliff for my own reasons. heathcathy is an alright ship in my opinion i just dont like it as much as hongcliff.

if the question has ever come to you of “what is ichi’s favourite hongcliff mirror world?” it’s full-stop. that seems like a bland one, but they resonate with me the most. my second favourite is you adept/lordlu. full-stop67 has been my favourite lcb67 duo ever since i started liking them a little over a year ago now. i saw full-stop heathcliff (didn’t have a heathcliff id, then got sunshower in a walp pull ???), sharded him then saw full-stop hong lu and was like “hm. i think i should shard him too.” and that’s sort of where it started.

context over, fso67 is such a sweet ship to me. i love their canon & fanon dynamics. the way hong lu & heathcliff are battle partners makes me really happy.. i love how they work together. the way they tease eachother makes me giggle really bad.

the way they’re depicted as a duo that can go serious but tease eachother in the heat of battle makes me giggle really bad. heathcliff is up here saying “i can see that carefree grin of his all the way from here… looks like we’re going to be okay.” which really resonates with me for some reason. heathcliff you’re in the midst of a battle where you just missed a bullet, and you’re focusing on your boss grinning? i know what you are.

their clear dependance on eachother, especially in the event of heathcliff running out of bullets, is really nice to see. the melee support as a whole is something i really like. oh yeah, heathcliff’s getting attacked (with his defense skill equipped)! hong lu, go get em! i mean, the dependance is to be expected. hong lu is able to keep going, keep fighting even when he runs out of bullets due to his machete, but heathcliff can’t with his already limited supply (Fuck you Return Fire. I HATE this skill.) and gets exposed to getting hurt especially with the weight of the rifle and everything else.

their designs are so good together. i’ve talked about hong lu’s design enough, but i don’t think i appreciate heathcliff’s enough. his long hair is so beautiful.. i imagine it as hong lu starting the office with long hair, heathcliff joining seeing his hair, then a few months later hong lu cuts it; then heathcliff starts to grow out his own. aagghhh i love it.. they compliment eachother so well, their colours too.. UAAGGGGHHH

i haven’t even talked about the voicelines yet. the change of “take care of them.” (notherwael translation) to “all yours.” (pm translation) baffles me. their relationship is so good… actually cries ALSO. “there, you can take the shot now.” (pm) and “this way, you can shoot, right?” HUUUUUUHHHHH HUUUHHHH right that just like speaks to me you know. “got your back, hong lu.” 🥹🥹🥹🥹 AAAHWHEHEUAHAHDHF honestly i cant even talk about the voicelines i think they just speak for themselves please fso heathcliff’s story is just them like going normal then they genuinely start flirting at the end i am so serious

yesterday (heavy fic rec. made me really sad.) i re-read “a full stop to life” by happystars (ao3) and dear god bro i’ve read this about 10 times and it still gets me at the end bro. they hurt bad bro. i don’t think i can describe how much i’m dependent on this ship it hurts, i love when they’re shown to be so vulnerable around eachother, there’s this art that really depicts it well (https://x.com/kiscript_/status/2073831404329472034?s=46 ) i love this artist so much don’t even play bro. it isn’t fso but it’s being mentioned due to how much i love it.. it’s so beautiful..

“Each branch is spearheaded by a small number of higher ranking members known as Adepts, second in command to only the leash-holder themselves.” there is 100% some tension between them and you cant tell me otherwise. i think they just stare at eachother sometimes (for fun) cuz they can’t see eye to eye ya get me. haha. haha. BRO HEATHCLIFF WHY IS HE. THEY BOTH:

- has a bandage over the same eye

- many themes of red on both

- both have death defiance

i saw an art wip on twt the other day and its of them both & theyre both being intercepted by the tottb spear thing.. so beautiful so beautiful.. i need them like bruised and bloody can they beat eachother up? youcliff would probably like that actually. do you think hed lick lordlu’s eyesocket . stick his fingers in there and lick it. idk actually, would he like the tarnished blood? wait this all reminds me of that one fic of youcliff and lordlu, the chicken hypnotisation. god i loved that its so funny, i think we as a society we need more lordlu/youcliff fics i adore them.

i don’t think i’ve really ever depicted how much i love this ship. look, sometimes, i see things i don’t want to, or things that just feel weird but it is such a good ship. hong lu & heathcliff have so many good interactions with eachother. HOLY SHIT WAIT IVE NOT EVEN MENTIOEND THE LINE ™️ HOLD ON

this shit hurts bro. heathcliff’s want to help hong lu, but hong lu’s dismissal hurts bro. it kind of shows the change they’ve gone through, heathcliff’s care here and before. he already showed a disliking to hong lu’s general aloofness and the fact that he goes along with other people’s will, not his own. hong lu was already emotionally repressed before it, right? to say that “i never needed to feel better.” after heathcliff says “but it’ll… atleast it’ll make you feel better.” it just feels like hong lu’s at the path of no return (shown later; he’s not) after revealing what he went through, like it’s bringing him down. even though the other sinners who had their cantos showed their backstory, it feels like hong lu is more vulnerable about it. i mean, he’s showing almost everything, right? the horrors of hongyuan, the family massacre, all in the same vicinity of daiyu too, who broke away from him. heathcliff trying to help him.. agh..

first, this makes me giggle because yall are eavesdropping. also hey gregcliff. i like gregcliff. this is again an example of heathcliff disliking hong lu’s aloofness, hating the fact he can’t live for himself. hong lu trying to mitigate the situation by trying to act like it’s all fine (it didn’t work. heathcliff said he was about to burst a vessel after). i hate when people say “we’re shipping straight bs, they haven’t even interacted” to things like lcb67. look. they interact so much, heathcliff (pre-canto 8) was obviously trying to help hong lu, trying to make him think for himself. that argument is straight bs anyway everybody on the bus has interacted bro are you ??? Eh?? sorry had to get that out. hong lu’s vulnerability compared to heathcliff’s want or desire to help hong lu through his past, to make him decide for himself instead of pulling through doing nothing but going to someone’s will. never questioning, never objecting to things.. i miss them so bad..

there are a lot of mw ships i haven’t mentioned. w corp is a very good one that i enjoy a lot, their relationship is pretty much just there and i loved how the ut story was just them.. the fanon arts of them are great too. lordlu/wildhunt is something nice too, i like middle/ring nursefather.. lots and lots of things.. i really like kurokumo..

ok concluded i think i’ve talked too much. i love lcb67 so much they genuinely plague my every waking thought. i love them i love them. ❤️❤️❤️

too fullstop hong lu pilled. how many times am i going to talk about this man? this eventually falls into fso6711 territory. whoops.

i’ve already talked about this a lot, but full-stop hong lu just feels like an entirely different version of him. well, i mean, he is. he’s from a different mirror world and has like an entirely different path. but it makes me wonder “how is this a hong lu id from before canto 8?”

sure, the ids don’t really reflect their cantos (unless capstones and just some exclusions) and all that other stuff, but from how stiff the other hong lu ids pre-canto 8 are, full-stop just feels a lot more different. obviously, post canto 8 reveals a lot more about him, stuff with his family and all the other things, but he just feels a lot more outspoken and.. i don’t really know how to explain it. for instance, another office id that came out a few months before fso, fanghunt office. he mentions the elders in his chatter 2, sending the bloodfiend back to his family (eek. good luck to that guy). fanghunt does seem pretty free & content with himself, but not on the same level as full-stop office rep. or am i going too deep into my favourite id?

he just seems so careless but caring in the same time, mentioning money not being a problem and saying things like “bullets sure are expensive, but not as expensive as your life, right?” this line for a hong lu id shown before canto 8 goes especially crazy. like, he was really aloof before it, right? not much care for himself, not really much for anything around him, flowing along with the choices. it just feels. Augh. I lovethat line.

his dependence on heathcliff and sinclair is especially prevalent in this id too. look, i mean that’s obvious. but even in things like r corp, he’s not too bothered about ishmael or the other people fighting around him. sure, him and ish just sit down in the middle of the battle (they’ll die anyway is his logic. makes me giggle a little). and yea, the ruina ids usually work together a lot or benefit each-other in different ways, especially shown in the new dawn office ids we got. the office ids all have pretty good relationships, but this is especially noted (for me) in fso. the way heathcliff and hong lu say things about each-other seems more just like a friendly relationship than something in an office. hell, i swear the end of heathcliff’s uptie story is them genuinely just teasing the shit out of each-other. hong lu seems pretty professional, but the way he talks to the other two just makes me think that they just disregard the whole colleague professional stuff and just talk to each-other normally. fso6711 strikes back. i will cry of happiness when fso sinclair gets an id. He will. Trust me.

obviously, they’ve got to care for eachother. sinclair and heathcliff are at a disadvantage, they will eventually run out of bullets and have to be extremely careful about what they do. hong lu will probably get another melee support/taking cover sorta thing with sinclair when we get his id in the hopeful foreseeable future. but it doesn’t feel like a true office, does it? they all just seem so close with eachother. or i’m thinking about fso6711 again. GOSH DARNIT!!! but there is that sense of care between them all. god i fucking love fso6711. my gun-wielding polycule with a heinous height gap between heathcliff and sinclair. and hong lu too. yknow that really makes me giggle the 2cm between hongcliff and then the what, 15&17cm height gap between hongclair and heathclair? funny. heathcliff please use him as an armrest.

wow im back and this is probably gonna be a bit nonsensical & all over the place today. sorry! i’ve been thinking about hong lu & viruses..

+ school ended. more rambles should (hopefully) be coming! big responsibilities next year tho.. shudders..

i’ve been getting interested in viruses again. this makes me think, what viruses (that i’m aware of) could i associate with hong lu?

well, certainly my first thought was wannacry. wannacry is my favourite ransomware and i kinda thought of the virus being in his eye lol.. but this thought was kind of denied. it’s something that encrypts your software, and to get it back, for the price of $300 in bitcoin (this sentence doesn’t really make sense. idk how to make it make sense so deal with it!). you could view this as something linking to the kong massacre though. like the use of a traumatic event for the enjoyment of the elders. i don’t know bruh.

another one i could associate somewhat with him is the melting screen virus (“what is this?” go watch danooct1’s video on it on youtube! i love that guy) but specifically in lordlu’s sense with his eye always bleeding. he can temporarily stop it, but not for long as it will always be there. it doesn’t affect you badly, but it’s always there, always in the way of what you’re trying to do. it will reoccur and happen. Again. it’s also something rhat emails itself to your contacts, maybe something about bloodshed spreading due to the heishou and what he did himself? ion know bruh

he also sparks the ideas of this one virus that infected your computer and made blood trail down your screen until the blood runs out. ANYWAY.

if i had to give him one or create one myself, i think it’d be a trojan. it looks all innocent on the outside, as lcb hong lu, but then when activated and going through your pc, something like lordlu. that’s how it feels. i also like the dripping blood theme (check, add that in!) and maybe like the petal theme from his canto trailing around your mouse or heaping up at the bottom of your screen. OOH ALSO STOPPING YOUR MOUSE WOULD BE COOL?? to highlight the flight/fight reaction of the kong family massacre. like just occasionally preventing your mouse from moving and playing a clip or giving a theme from c8’s massacre. That’d be so cool. it’d be really funny if you got a fake blue screen too, but it was obviously fake cuz of things at the bottom (like imagine instead of it saying “for more info about this issue and possible fixes, visit our website” / “if you call a support person, give them this info” “it said “for more information about this issue and possible fixes, visit the lord of hongyuan, hong lu” / “if you call a support person, the heishou will find you” or something or other

i think it’d also bug with your c drive too that’d be funny. like removes files (puts them in the recycle bin (can you do that?) and then reinstates them) overwrites your files with images of lordlu (like how iloveyou overwrites the files with the .vbs extention stuff. GOD I LOVE IT.) LMFAOO THATD BE FUNNY AS FUCK

I've seen a lot of au's by various people where the sinners are swapped with their bad end ID's, but still work for the LCB. I think that Hong Lu and Don Quixote (or Sancho in this case) would have an especially weird dynamic because of his constantly bleeding eye and her being a Bloodfiend. Just "ayo bro I'm hungry can I get some food" "aight" and then he takes his bandages off and she just consumes blood dripping from his eyesocket. The other sinners don't even care at this point they're used to this by now

full-stop hong lu feels like a really special id to me. he seems so much more confident and carefree than the other hong lu identities.

running an office as its’ representative is no easy feat, right? but hong lu just seems to get along with it. he makes little comments everytime heathcliff or sinclair miss a bullet and is just super carefree about it all. he really feels different in accordance to the other hong lu ids. lordlu had ‘freedom’ away from the jia family, practically killing and paving his own way. he wasn’t afraid to reject them and move on, same with the xianren. full-stop hong lu keeps in touch, but uses them as.. a transactional thing. lordlu does mention this in his uptie story, saying that their interactions were just transactions for their own good.

fslu isn’t afraid or apprehensive to call them up for funding. heck, he mentions it quite a little bit with no care in the world. the budget his family give is literally what the office would get in a yearly budget. heathcliff and sinclair however don’t like this, and for fair reasons. i’ve always interpreted it as heathcliff and sinclair coming from lower, less well-off offices, and heathcliff’s past as a whole. heathcliff mentions in his uptie story that the last office he was in (or the last offices? one of the two) were not good, and coming into full-stop made him think it was some sort of ‘charity office’. hell, fslu never even mentions them truly. his only mentions of them are when he needs to ask for money. he doesn’t talk abiut them in any other manner, only (most probable) jia qiu getting his hands on an s-class firearm. i don’t know if this id has already re-lived the trauma and passed on with his experience, but it really feels like he has. his caring, albeit carefree nature is so prevalent in this id. his voicelines show how truly caring he is towards his colleagues, ensuring their safety, making sure nothing will backfire on them and even joking about bullet prices. this id feels a lot more different, a lot more carefree. now with ids like s corp ch’unokkun, we have more instances of hong lu being carefree or different in battles, but fullstop hong lu really shines a different light. he feels a lot different than the other ids.

he bosses around in a carefree but imperative manner that just makes him feel funny. heathcliff mentions his ‘carefree grin’ in his uptie story when hong lu is out fighting the worshippers. it feels like he really just doesn’t care. sure, he has life insurance, but it’s like he knows their skills are adept and is able to fight his way through, even in the absence of bullets or even hope. he’s a very special case in terms of ids—even in terms of liwei himself. liwei seems more constructive and serious than hong lu. but he seems to be able to give up more easily. the canon full-stop office are more at a disadvantage, due to bullet pricings being so expensive. liwei mentions dropping their guns in pursuit of argalia, and, so does hong lu in his defeat voiceline. however, hong lu can just buy them back. liwei can’t. they are very different, but from the same premise. hong lu is more airy, carefree and seems to not care for his own death. liwei is a lot more serious but seems to hold his fear. he mentions death being ‘inevitable’, saying that ‘humans all die eventually, why prolong the inevitable?’ (not accurate to the line, but something like that). hong lu’s depiction of death is something close to that, saying ‘we can put all kinds of meaningful labels on death, but it’s still death at the end of the day.’ hong lu’s life insurance makes him.. used to it in a way? however, liwei views it as something inevitable, something to keep in mind as it will eventually come to you one day.

their differences make me giggle. hong lu feels so much more different to liwei, is this really the guy he’s meant to mirror? (sarcasm)
