Chihayafuru Season 1

***SPOILERS***

Hey guys!!! So I’m back!!! I just started a new series called Chihayafuru and im OBSESSED. I just finished season 1 and I have some thoughts. Okay first of all, the relationship between Chihaya and Taichi, I’m SCREAMING. He cares so much for her and even as kids its so obvious he loves her. We saw that indirect kiss scene where he eats the cake crust off her spoon, y’all I was dying. As for Arata, I mean his character kinda upsets me sometimes. Like yeah I get his grandpa the one who taught him karata passed away, but that doesn’t mean you need to isolate and be mean to your friends AND give up on karata. Of course we see later on that he starts playing karata again and is trying to come back to Chihaya and Taichi, but I dont know. I feel like if he were to stay away, Taichi and Chihaya could have something great. CHIHAYA IS SO OBLIVIOUS TO EVERYTHING BESIDES KARUTA THOUGH AND IT IS KINDA ANNOYING, however, we do know that shes a dedicated character and very strong willed. Desktomu, Porky, and Kana-chan are also great secondary characters and the relationship they ALL have with eachother makes me so happy. I just started season 2, so once I finish that I’ll be sure to post! Lmk what you guys think too! 💕
