Bear with me as I try to put into words what The Eras Tour has meant to me, not just the 7 shows I was lucky enough to see live, but the 142 shows I experienced with the community I’ve been a part of for so long. Eras healed parts of me that I didn’t know needed healing. I’ve never felt so connected with every past version of myself as I have during the past two years. To witness this person that I’ve loved for 18 years now, bring her artistry to life on stage, to experience each era as it intertwines with my own memories and growth, has been nothing short of magical. Every performance felt like a piece of my own story being sung back to me. The Eras Tour has been a celebration not just of Taylor’s evolution, but of my own journey, and thinking about all the versions of myself that have seen Taylor live since 2007, reminds me of how she has been a constant in all of my experiences, good and bad. I haven’t just grown up with her, I’ve grown up BECAUSE of her (shoutout to EOAS). Her lyrics have a way of speaking directly to my soul, capturing the emotions I often couldn’t express myself. Each song feels personal, as though she’s been there with me, understanding my pain, joy, love, and heartache. Her music has taught me about resilience, self-empowerment, and the beauty of vulnerability. Through her voice, I’ve learned to embrace my own emotions, and her evolution as an artist has inspired me to grow and change with grace. Taylor’s music isn’t just something I listen to - it’s something I live, breathe, and hold close to my heart. She has been there for me whenever I’ve needed her, and I couldn’t have become the person I am today without her.
