Shiva does not need to turn around to sense the appearance of the person behind her. There are very, very few people that are capable of sneaking up on the master martial-artist– but even they would not simply suddenly appear. Or, more likely, appear so quickly that even her reflexes couldn’t pick up on the movement.

She turns, and in one sweep of her gaze takes in; 

      the cape,       the cowlick,       the symbol. 

The only evident reaction from the assassin is a raised eyebrow.

     Shiva, the deadly assassin from Earth-One- no, not Earth-One. He still had a hard time not thinking of things in those terms. Regardless, he didn’t like her presence anywhere that good people lay their head to rest. Nothing good came out of those who killed for their kicks. “What I want is for you to turn around and leave Metropolis. This place doesn’t need a monster like you scurrying about.”

     The only unfortunate thing about this, was that this woman practically did not exist officially. Nor would he risk the lives of innocent people trying to detain her. No, as much as it frustrated him, the only way to stop her was have her leave.

Bucky had managed to get into the back, it was time to head through the front, but now things were going to get a little harder. After HURLING his shield toward the mask of one of the pyro agents, he ducked back, just while he was adjusting to see if he could get a good view of the door — that was, until something blue and red caught his eye.

Was it a bird? In these conditions? No way. A plane? No – he’d never seen anything like it— what WAS that in the sky? 

     The Man of Steel had finally gotten his full wits about him, and- great scott! The war! He wasn’t just loopy from the shift, he was smack dab in the middle of a firefight!

     And it looked like those devious Natzi’s were taking the term literally! If there’s anything he hated, it was a group of nefarious villains like Hitler and his stooges! “That man down there- a costume, much like my own!” Perhaps he was a member of the All-Star Squadron, much like his friends on the Justice Society. No time to find out now, the fellow was impressive, but he was also surrounded!

     Faster than a speeding bullet, Superman swoops into action! In a mere moment he’s snatched the weapons from the hands of those slimeballs, breaking them over his knee like they were simple twigs. Standing proud, he addresses the shocked armed forces. “At ease, gentlemen, this looks like a job for SUPERMAN!”
