Laura Hidalgo (1927–2005) was a prominent Romanian-born Argentine actress and producer who rose to fame during the golden age of Argentine and Mexican cinema. Often compared to Hollywood icon Hedy Lamarr, she starred in sixteen films and earned a 1954 Ariel Award nomination for Best Actress.
